makes killing an strong unit even more costly
Hmmm... unless I am missing something, you retain control of your attachments regardless of who owns the attached unit.
Meaning you could attach this to an *enemy* unit, and then kill it to nuke the rest of the enemy units at that planet.
Correct that is also a legitimate use for it.
Also, put this on your Flamers and then use their action to sacrifice them to deal damage to a target followed by more damage to that and all other units at the planet. Also, boost each packet of damage with Zarathur...crazy...
3 shields, so much uses for 1R1C.

Yep, this with Zara at the planet means you are doing 5 damage to a unit of choice (and 2 to all others) before the ranged phase even begins.
Good flexibilty and sometimes a card that decides games.
