Phoenix with Unicorn splash. The conflict deck is spell/kiho heavy with only 9 non-spell/kihos. This makes shrine maiden very effective. The fire keyword element does work!!! From play testing the hardest matchups seems to be Dragon and Scorpion. However, that's with my play style in consideration. PLEASE COMMENT FOR FEEDBACK.

Deck finished in the Semifinals of the 2018 Seattle Grand Kotei. It lost to the winning Crab deck in an extremely close match.

Overall record was 8-3.

Going on the aggressive path with phoenix and a lion splash. Battles surrounding rings more than just the choice between military or political. Use Phoenix inherent glory as an excellent defensive and offensive tool.

Crane is the best influence hands down! Scorpion and lion gave me a little bit of trouble. I mainly win through dishonor because I bid 1 every turn but against scorpion I find it better to go military and bid high when I can.
