I think this drone is more about having a way to recur a three shield card than anything else. Seems strong.

I'm very confused as to why the Command-link Drone gives no command.

It's more like a targeting system or radio than a command suite.

It just occurred to me, this isn't wargear. You could put this on a Landraider and then use communications relay to prevent cards from effecting it. Or even reassign it with Squadron Redeployment.

This card is amazing actually. For 1 thing you can pitch it for 3 shields and then recur it with the warlord trait. But the biggest thing is that you can reattach it between each attack (as long at you have the resources to pay) because of action windows opening up after each attack. So you can buff all your guys at a planet between attacks if you want. Or move the drone across planets. The card doesn't say attach to a unit at a single planet, just "attach to a different unit".

Huh, that's actually an excellent point. You could cascade it across planets as combat goes down the line as long as you have the resources.

3 shields, 0 cost and a great effect, 5/5 great card.

Yeah, having been on the receiving end of this recently, I have to say that in the right circumstance, a series of 1 resource for +1 attack effects is really good, doubly so when there's effects that are based on having an attachment.

Another thought: if deploying last matters more to you than resources, you can use this action as a deploy action, and stall for 1 resource per pop. Thats an edge case, but could be a useful brinksmanship play.

Q: if you have a unit (without command icons) in a planet and your opponent does not have a unit at all. Do you win the command struggle on that planet?

No - you must have more command icons, and both players have 0 in this case. (But please post general rules questions in the rules forum rather than against cards - that way, other readers can benefit, plus you'll get a more comprehensive answer. Thanks.)

Stupid good. 5/5.

0 cost, three shields and two effect. It's still a compulsory 1x.

5/5

Mastering delay, one resource at a time.

Utterly adore putting this on Shadowsun when I trigger "For the Tau'va". Tasty.

The action is a bit win more. If you can afford to have this card jumping around, you are probably doing good anyway.

3/5 (I review signature cards comparing to other signature cards)

Sparing a resource is not a problom concerning Tau. This Attachment works wonders with Sig Event and For the Tau'Va.
