Have you ever put this on your opponent's warlord?
Doesn't sound like a good idea to me. You give them +1 attack, and the damage only goes on Army Units, so it just makes him a better sniper. I guess the friendly fire aspect could come in in some circumstances though.
Sure I don't think it's a good idea. I just noticed it was legal (and the only other legal target ever) and wondered if that mattered.
In the mirror match-up, you could possibly find a good situation, although it would be rare.
Perhaps it's the last battle or a battle you must win to continue. Perhaps again your own Worr has to retreat (he's bloodied and will definitely die this round), and every single attack by the other side will kill one of your units. So the +1 Damage on Worr doesn't make a difference, but the 1 damage every time one of your units dies counts.
Perhaps they have the Steel Legion Chimera out and it will take too many rounds to kill it off while you need to direct some damage onto other army units that it is protecting from you weak-hitting ATK power army. So you throw a damage on it, the other side retaliates by swinging and killing somebody, and you ping one damage that can't be protected by the chimera because it's not from an attack?
Not very common but worth knowing?
Thing is, Worr doesn't really like getting involved in a battle in the first place, which means that neither player's Worr is likely to be in a big battle. Given that this as well wouldn't really prevent their Worr from command sniping (since the reaction damage can't hit Worr) I really don't see much point in attaching this to an enemy unit. If anything, letting their Worr do 3-4 damage to, say, your Anxious Infantry Platoon and killing it, resulting is some army unit of yours take a damage, is much more preferable than not doing enough to kill the Platoon and having Worr take 3-4 damage instead.
This mostly gets used as shields when I play Worr. If Markis was a Commisaar, however, I'd probably play it more often
Its a good call though, and there might be edge case scenarios where it'll be a game changer. I'll add that to my repertoire of cool tricks to remember.
