The thing i like most about this support is that it makes using your warlord as a comand sniper better, and it prevents the enemy warlord from sniping eficiently.
No matter how big an enemy unit is, if a combat ends with 1vs1 exausted units you autowin if they dont play something else. So if the enemy warlord tries to snipe your capping unit and you save it, he wont be able to kill 2 units in a single combat round and more tokens will keep spamming. Also makes elysians even more valuable as they may think they are safe by killing your only unit and then suddenly they are in a combat they cant win at all.
To me this is one of the best signature supports in the game rigth now, and will make me consider running enginseers on a worr deck.
Had a Sanctioned Psyker 0A 4HP at Planet one that was Green.
Went against a Tyranid that had just 1 Attack, if I remebered that I had this Support in play I would have crushed the first planet.
And I agree I think I may need to put Enginseers in my deck too.
No. Battle End =/= Combat round ending. In the circumstance you describe, the battle ends during the first combat round, before the combat round has a chance to end.
No, you don't get a token because the reaction only triggers at the end of a combat ROUND which in turn means everything has to be exhausted -> every player readies each unit he/she has on this planet -> you get a token if you trigger the reaction -> player with the initiative decides whether he/she stays -> the oponent decides whether he/she stays -> next combat round.
Of course, if you happen to exhaust Worr in an action window prior to attacking with him you can spawn a token.
Thanks guys. This is what I thought too but just wanted to make sure.
So, battle at fourth planet, Osus IV...
Chaplain Mavros has the initiative, alone, versus a Sanctioned Psyker with a Forward Barracks.
First swing, Mavros hits Psyker for two, no shields. Psyker exhausts having done no damage, the round ends.
As Psyker remains, a Guardsman token is sent via Forward Barracks.
Mavros again has initiative, he swings, killing Guardsman. Psyker again, no damage.
Combat round two begins and yet another brave Guardsman goes out of his barracks to face the mighty bloody hammer of Mavros.
If the Mavros player has no secret weapons in his (or her) hand and the Guard player has no shields, this creates an endless infinite loop.
Thoughts and thanks to all by the way, this forum is a huge help during all of our gaming arguments.
