Bad Publicity - Retooling a user submitted Criminal deck

This time we dive into a deck build submitted to us by Alkmst.
He writes in -
" Hey I wanted to see if you guys could sort of review this deck a bit. I live in Puerto Rico and asides from the people I get to play with (with my cards) i honestly think I might be the only Netrunner Player in the island (lol). I have 2 cores and all data packs so far, so I made this deck In hopes of an early game rushed victory by controlling the corp.

I know the Imp splash is very unusual, but the plan was to wither the corps hand, trashing cards I cant normally trash. I ran account siphon and Vamp to destroy the corps economy. However the splashes of Imp and Vamp took me to 10 Influence and I didn't have enough draw, so I used 2 Diesels and 1 Quality time to use up the remainder Influence. I was considering maybe replacing vamp with either Deja Vu, for more continuous use of Imp or Nerve Agent to make the runs on HQ hurt more but still not entirely sure. Also I was pondering the possibility of running Andromeda since this is an early game deck, to get the best possible hand but I'm not sure if this would hurt my economy too much. My deckbuilding is somewhat odd considering I really dont have a Netrunner scene to playtest so I was hoping to get your opinion on what you think of this deck. If its too far out there sorry lol. Second - for those that want to comment and add their opinion and help below, remember that we try to stick with the main structure of the deck, with a goal to retool and tweak. Not throw the whole deck out and build a new one from scratch. With that in mind lets get onto the episode.

All those Bank Job and Armitage just jumped in value. You can't trash ice etc now but overall econ is much better.
That's just me though.
You should check the very basic aggro Gabe builds. Other players have done this deck very good already. This deck type is maybe the most common runner deck you will see anyway.
EDIT Also you don't use expose effects just for traps. The main use is to use them as a "money cards". Especially HB and NBN wants to put unadvanced cards (usually basic assets/upgrades) in the remotes and force you to run them because those could be 3/2 agendas. With expose runner doesn't waste about 6 creds to just find about what they are when odds are about 30/70 that it is a agenda.
I just wanted to edit this and say that is not intended for the OP at all, rather the user Watersgate. I don't think Bad Pub is doing a bad job at all on here, and I just wanted to echo that on this post. Keep up the great work fellas, and I'm apologize if it seems any intend to be negative towards you all.
As stated above, the purpose of this deck tweaking exercise is to simply modify a user submitted deck. Not to strip it to the bare bones and begin anew, and not to simply make the changes necessary to compose known tournament builds. I think we can all agree that net-decking is an excellent way to assemble competitive, tournament worthy builds, but as mentioned above, it will not help a player one iota if they are not skilled in the execution of their net gleamed masterpiece. This is especially true for any new player, as the mechanics and the synergy of the decks will most likely be lost on them if they do not already possess the play experience/knowledge of a seasoned veteran. This leads into a relatively well known fact that most human beings are kinesthetic. Meaning they learn by doing. The act of simply adjusting a player's current build means they are more inclined to gain a deeper grasp on Netrunner a great deal sooner than if they were to net-deck and "fly by night" as it were. Tweaking allows them to play what they know so they can learn in a format they are already comfortable with and have put some thought into.
Each individual learns at their own pace. If someone wishes to net-deck, nothing is stopping them from doing so. In fact, this site is an excellent resource for doing just that. But for those just starting out or who may be less experienced than some of us, (for the time being) taking a trial and error approach will yield them a greater return both in leveraging their own play style to build and play the type of deck that suits them best, and in their own understanding of the fundamentals of the game and its mechanics.
In closing, if a new player is interested in having their decks transformed into the most popular builds, they should be looking elsewhere. If a reader is lucky enough to count themselves amongst the visual and auditory learners and have studied enough of the theory behind ANR to understand most of what there is to know, please leave your negative comments elsewhere. Discouraging new players from helpful information is no way to build a strong gaming community.
