Double Time Review

Android: Netrunner Review

Our staff has put together a first blush analysis of the Double Time data pack. We’ve used a one through five scale; five being the best. The cards are listed in numeric order. Our reviewers are listed in alphabetical order. Let us know in the comments how you feel about the cards in this pack!

Sorry that this is later than normal, things got hectic and I got behind. - Darksbane

Corps3mourn - 3 out of 5
Being as this card should be used when the corp is toting a hefty 2 or 3 card rooted remote, the cost is fair. Considering it bypasses the steep costs of San San and the ability of Ash, Bernice, and a whole slew of traps out of the red faction, it’s a solid 3 from me. So many tactical cards exist in the Anarch pool now. I wish I had the patience to play them!

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
Loved the effect, hated the cost. I think that making this a double event is more than fair, but why making this cost 4 credits? I think it is a little too much, but I think this is one of those scary surprises that will be worth to run a single copy in your deck. You never know when you'll see a SanSan City Grid and a Ash 2X3ZB9CY in the same server, right?

Jamieson - 2 out of 5
Caprice Nisei is the start of a new area where we will encounter more cases of remote servers housing more than 2 cards. So this card is a great concept, but fails to pull the trigger in an effective and efficient way. First problem I see is that the card you most want to trash is the Caprice but issue is her ability happens before this card effect which in turn, if you don't pass leaves you slapped hard across the face ( you just spend 4 credits and 2 clicks ). Leading to the second problem; Cost. Singularity is very expensive and also a turn burner. Anarch already has other cards in faction that deal with trashing more efficiently ( Imp, and if you are already playing Whizzard ). If you feel like you really need to trash heavy assets even Scrubber is available to you but most times not recommended. Slide this card to the back of your find for now. Its going to be hard pressed to see some deck time in current meta’s. 3 influence also makes out of faction play very unlikely.

SlySquid ~ 3 out of 5
I can't think of a card I'd rather have in my hand match point against Jinteki! I know that as of now those situations are few and far between what with all the fast advancing that corps are doing but I feel the game is going to hit a tipping point soon where that is not going to be the only way to win, and when that day comes (in a month or so when H&P drops) I'm going to be glad I slotted two of these bad boys in... There's also that time old play of laying a Snare on a San San until an agenda is scored...

Corps3mourn - 2 out of 5
For those who can expose cards and spot an upgrade or trap in advance, this is a nice burst economy card. However, boosting a Ronin, GRNDL Refinery or *gasp* an agenda could be ballsagna. Even if your opponent has Trick of Light, you’re maybe helping more than you want to...

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
I wonder how the same design team that designed this, an elegant card, that embraces all cool aspects of Android: Netrunner—the bluff, the time management, the surprise economy burst—could possibly think of a card like Hard at Work. This is what we wanted! Congratulations, FFG, you finally made a good economy card for Anarch! And congratulations to Matt Zellinger for making the best art in Android: Netrunner so far.

Jamieson - 3 out of 5
The theming of this card with Anarch is just so great. A potential high risk economy cards. It gives you a very nice return since its zero credits up front and cost 2 clicks to play. The drawback being its reliant on your opponent having an unrezzed card in a remote. So potential dead draw and hand clogging card. 3 influence is not generating tons of out of faction play.

SlySquid ~ 3 out of 5
6 creds for 2 clicks! Sign me up... Lol I wish that was is... I love the composition of this card because it opens up a new level of bluffing for both sides, more often then not the only card the corp will play and wait is San San (or now Caprice) but that's not to say after seeing this card played that the corp doesn't start laying out agendas to look like a San San! All and all I love the risk for reward on this card and look forward to play testing with it...

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_dyson-fractal-generator-double-time.png'] Dyson Fractal Generator 8 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 2 out of 5
As things stand, this card is not so hot. Sure, you have a recurring credit for your barrier breaker, but do you need that more than some other form of income? Cyberfeeder? Until the next Killer ICE comes out for destroying barriers, we’ll be left to our imaginations…

Hraklea - 2 out of 5
Considering the options, this is the best stealth chip so far. Almost everybody is playing Corroder nowadays, so a recurring credit for 1 credit is a very good trade to make. It might be hard to find a place in your 45 cards to include this, but I think it is worth to give it a shot.

Jamieson - 1 out of 5
In current hard pool this card is not generating any buzz. This is a future play once a fracter equivalent to Dagger is printed. Not much else to say at this time for it - future value depends on the factors of that breaker. Currently I would rather have Cyberfeeder. Even though it is 1 credit more, it can be used on all icebreakers and installing Virus programs at ? the influence value.

SlySquid ~ 3 out of 5
Ok I know this is suppose to be a "first glance" review and since there is no Stealth fracter a rating of 3 is a little high but I think we all now that this card is going to do a lot of work... Even now, I see more and more people running Morningstar and busting everything super cheap, I don't see why this isn't a great addition to that as is, also it is great to pawn after it's time has past... I just find cards that are setting up other cards very hard to rate, so I'll say 3...
[/CRB]

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_silencer-double-time.png'] Silencer 12 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 3 out of 5
First off, that’s a high influence value, but there’s a big “but” coming… When paired with Cloak in a green deck with Dinosaurous, Dagger, Paintbrush and all the in faction tutor ability, we might just have a new deck on the way. This card enables a solitary Dagger to chew through a glacier if Paintbrush is in play. Add tinkerings to spice and Silencer is a solid card.

Hraklea - 2 out of 5
Considering that the main killer in Criminal is Faerie, it is very hard to justify using this card in a Criminal deck. It can be used with Cloak in a "dagger deck", but we still need to see the other stealth breakers before we know how viable they can be.

Jamieson - 4 out of 5
I decided to round this one up as I could not pick what side of the fence I currently felt it rested on; 3 or 4. This card will have everyone at least thinking of Dagger again and I love that its a Stealth Hardware instead of the program Cloak is. This frees you of a memory handcuff. It is a credit for using any killer and very inexpensive to play. Bonus points for being power shutdown protection. I currently was using Akamatsu Mem Chip for this purpose. The only question left to answer “Is Dagger better in criminal or Silencer a better fit for Shaper?”

SlySquid ~ 3 out of 5
What's that? You thought Cloak and Dagger were to Jinkie!? Say hello to the missing link... First though is how much more silent could a ninja, garrotte and dagger be when killing something!? Meh...
This card is hot in our meta right now as everyone is trying out the Paintbrush decks that only run a single breaker type, and of all three sentry's are the worst to hit head on so I feel with the addition of this card Dagger fits the bill... But to be fair it's cheap, no memory and works with any Killer so I'm all for this card, but I do think the influence on all the stealth chips should be two...

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_savoir-faire-double-time.png'] Savoir-Faire 8 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 2 out of 5
I took this in an Andy deck to a tournament last week. Sorry to say, there was not a single opportunity that arose where I wanted to use this card’s ability. I can see how it was probably envisioned as a Self-Modifying Code for blue but it’s execution in faction seems to fall a little short.

Hraklea - 2 out of 5
I really don't like this. First, Criminal don't really have a lot of memory to spend it with this. Second, playing things from your grip "clicklessly" is not as strong as playing from the heap (Clone Chip) or stack (Self-Modifying Code). That said, I can see people using this in Anarch to Parasite a piece of ICE before they get hit. Not a fan, but not a hater.

Jamieson - 2 out of 5
Coming from a Shaper background I know the value of a speed burst as we have Self-Modifying Code to play with. And being in a Fast Advance and Corporate Rush world every click counts. That being said I’m not a believer that this is giving you that advantage. You need to have the card in your hand already unlike the fetch ability of SMC. It couples well with in faction Special Order and when you hold multi breakers in hand and don't know what to install before your assault on a 1 ICE server but I don't feel that is much of a boost. If you have the breaker in hand just play it and save the 2 extra credits. Its 1 MU is nice since it remains in play after use, unlike SMC but the other factions are going to take SMC over this since the influence is identical. I expect a few people to play with the timing of paid abilities with this card, doing the action on the corps turn but overall don't expect it to currently see much play. Once more run events come out for Criminal with the big box expansion due out next the value will be lifted.

SlySquid ~ 2 out of 5
I find this card way to situation, and to add the caveat of having to pay two extra creds on top of it is just too much... The only card I see likening this is parasite and even then it's just Meh, I don't know what else to say...
[/CRB]

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_fall-guy-double-time.png'] Fall Guy 13 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 3 out of 5
The potential of this card is pretty good. I put it on par with Infiltration in the sense that you may not need its ability, so gain 2 credits instead. If you need to prevent your Crash Space or Katie Jones from getting annexed while floating tags then look no further.

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
I think this card is ok, in the sense that it is balanced for what it is supposed to do, but I don't see why would you use this rather than more copies of your resources. Maybe you want to keep tags and play Kati Jones? All I know is that I have been playing a tag-floating deck since Opening Moves and I have no intention to use this.

Jamieson - 3 out of 5
Really dig seeing double uses for cards, it really helps bring them life when you play against decks that they are not needed. Influence and credit cost are both set correct here. This card is just a good support card that will definitely be seeing play. Include this card in your deck and your resources will thank you for it later.

SlySquid ~ 4 out of 5
This card is a home run! I've been a long time advocate for The Source and to not have to trash him if an agenda is scored is mind blowing to me! And that's just the first card in a long list that this just makes better, the next biggest being Data Leak Reversal... It's going to open up new decks that revolve around recourses and make the game better all and all in my honest opinion... And if want helpful enough you can sack it AT ANY TIME for 2 creds!!! Also that card is going out in H&P that gives you a cred for each connection you have in play... I can't say enough about this card lol ok one more... I run a lot of hostages in my decks but there comes a point that you have found the two or three you need in play early making the rest of the hostages "dead draws" but because this little guy is a connection you just tutor him him in with no regrets because he will at the very lease make you money back...
[/CRB]

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_power-nap-double-time.png'] Power Nap 9 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 2 out of 5
For now, Power Nap is a bit of a hurtin’ unit. It could be considered a wash to play it in regard to the click to credit ratio. Now all you need is a stack of double events in your heap! Not exactly a common sight at this stage in the game. Sometime down the road this may prove to be an excellent burst economy card. But for now, it’ll be occupying binder space.

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
For this to act like an Easy Mark, you must have at least 2 Doubles in your heap. So, if you want to use 2x Power Nap, it will require you to have at least other 4 Doubles, or you'll be losing money. If you manage to use 6 Doubles, this will be a cost zero Sure Gamble - which is really really good. I won't be surprised if people manage to make a Power Nap deck.

Jamieson - 2 out of 5
Gaining the 2 credits makes it a wash for costing 2 clicks to play. The only thing left to say is that if you use double events then you probably are slotting this in, if you dont then you have already ignored it. It will come back around after the card pool for double events grows. Looking at the 2 influence cost I'm thinking its a little steep to see this out of faction, as you probably used your influence splashing in the double events already.

SlySquid ~ 2 out of 5
This card wants to be a 3, and I'm normally the guy to give a higher rating but when I want income I want it now... This is a late game card and let's face it shapers are already the kings of late game, I think this is just going to wait for more Doubles that make it worth wile... I know their is a Starlight/pawnshop deck that's making the rounds but I really don't think it'll last... Fun idea, love the flavour of Chaos being able to hack in her dreams with Dinosouris watching for the boggy man, but with so few in faction doubles this is a bit of a snooze (lol get it?)
[/CRB]

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_paintbrush-double-time.png'] Paintbrush 15 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 4 out of 5
Well, now we’re talking! This program will allow for a new deck type to make an appearance! There is a possibility that a deck could be constructed that uses only one type of breaker and relies on Paintbrush to modify ICE type. I can’t wait to see it! The worst natural enemy this card has is Replicating Perfection. Anything that requires a click could mean the difference between scaling past a tactically placed glacier or being permanently locked out.

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
Considering this requires 2 MU and can't be used in unrezzed pieces of ICE, I'm not a big fan of this card. If I have to guess, I'd say this card was designed to be used in a stealth deck - a Dagger breaking whatever it wants can't be a bad thing, right? I guess time will tell.

Jamieson - 4 out of 5
With the introduction of this card Rig building decks just got a lot better. It will be interesting to see how people juggle the MU requirement and the 4 influence. The drawback of this card is the ability is only good on rezzed ICE. The upside of this card already has combo ideas flying through my brain. Expect to see this card, Kit players are already slotting it in. Expect to cry when you come up against my Personal Touch / Morning Star combo with this card.

SlySquid ~ 4 out of 5
Criminals got Sneakdoor Beta, Anarchs got Keyhole and Shapers get Paintbrush... This is a game changing card, it opens up so many new deck possibilities the most talked about being the single breaker decks, the two I've heard most talk about being Kit and/or a Dagger build and I like the latter but different strokes for different folks right!?... But it's also great for a full rig deck in the same sense that people use to run Crypsis to fill the gap of what breakers they were missing and trash it upon getting there full suit to stay aggressive and keep the pressure on, and I think that's going to be the way it's played once the dust settles...

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_lucky-find-double-time.png'] Lucky Find 12 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 2 out of 5
I can’t get past the dual influence cost for a slightly better Sure Gamble. It’s all about diminished return on investment with me (the reason I don’t like Restructure outside of transaction Weyland or a Jinteki deck sporting Celebrity Gift as Hedge Fund is otherwise always better). I find my decks run super tight on influence. I don’t see myself including Lucky Find in anything outside of some future double event deck.

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
I won't lie to you: I nerdrage'd when I saw the spoiler. Two influence per copy seems to be a high price to pay for having a better Sure Gamble, but now that I had time to think about it, I think that this would become an auto-include everywhere if it were just one influence per copy. Of course, I'm biased about it, but I think this is a very good economy card for Anarch.

Jamieson - 3 out of 5
This is a great economy card. The payoff sits at the right price for return. Comparisons to Sure gamble will follow this card around like a lost puppy. I believe this is better than Sure Game. Although it is one of the nicest double events we have seen the influence cost holds it back in ratings currently.

SlySquid ~ 4 out of 5
I'm a thematic player and I love the idea of one day running a purely mono coloured deck, and I feel as the game grows and there is less and less need to splash for cards from other factions this card and others like it will be used over and over again... That's not to say that's it's not great now, because it is! 6 creds for two clicks with the only condition being you need to have at lease 3 creds to start is nuts and being a huge Celebrity Gift fan I can tell you that make money hand over fist! But you need spare influence, which is not an easy a thing to do... But it will be played
[/CRB]

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_gyri-labyrinth-double-time.png'] Gyri Labyrinth 11 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 3 out of 5
A tricky early game ICE indeed. Having Gyri Labyrinth in your red or green deck could mean a really early win if your cards line up. With the lack of End Run subroutine I’m leaning more toward a nice Jamesteki build. Punish their curiosity and stop them from drawing up.

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
This is very dangerous for a cheap ICE. Brain damage-based Haas-Bioroid decks are still growing, so we can't be sure about how strong this is going to be, but it might be good in a Jinteki or Weyland deck.

Jamieson - 2 out of 5
This card card will have its place in an deck type that is really looking for a combo kill and will be stronger down the road when we see more cards that manipulate runners hand size. It sits as a nice early game speed bump. I like what they did homing it in HB faction keeping it 2 influence to splash. Very reasonable if you are looking for early piece of a kill combo put I dont expect to see it much right now.

SlySquid ~ 3 out of 5
Let's get the fact that it's YOGable out of the way right now because it needs to be said...
I think this card is flawless, you not going to want to hit it over and over which makes you really want to find a Decoder early and there is huge potential to flatline in the right decks... It's also worth noting that if you are forced to discard under you maximum hand size at anytime, including your discard phase, you die... It's also got a great splash cost and will be in a fair amount of decks I think, all and all I really like it!
[/CRB]

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_reclamation-order-double-time.png'] Reclamation Order 13 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 3 out of 5
A solid grave tutor. Unleashing your win conditions over and over again is nothing to turn your nose up at. There’s not too much else I can say about Reclamation Order other than it really should be in every purple deck that scores out of hand.

Hraklea - 4 out of 5
This is just great. It plays your Scorched Earth again, it plays your Psychographics again, it plays your Biotic Labor again without even requiring influence for Haas-Bioroid. I won't say that Haas-Bioroid fast advance will be as popular as they used to be in 2013, but Double Time has definitely made the faction stronger.

Jamieson - 3 out of 5
Its nice to have options to pull from Archives. Comparision card will be Archived Memories. Its the same influence cost but with this you are paying 1 credit and a click more. Pulling 3 cards back into hand is going to be a great ability but 99% of the time you are only have 1 click left after playing this so be careful of your hand size. Its a good card but it the right build it will be quite dangerous but its very situational to execute. Having this too early before you have at least 2 copies of a card in Archives and you are going to wish you were holding the little brother version.

SlySquid ~ 3 out of 5
This is a pretty vanilla card, it's everything you love about Archive Memory's but x3... I love it in faction but I still feel if I'm going to splash for a recursion card it's going to be Archive Memory's... But in HB I'd prob run three of each!
Great card
[/CRB]

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_broadcast-square-double-time.png'] Broadcast Square 10 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 2 out of 5
While Bad Publicity is becoming more prevalent these days, I can’t envision anyone using Broadcast Square out of faction. WIth Blackmail decks popping up everywhere, BP avoidance is something to consider though. I’d love to see a neutral one time cheap pop that kills them off though. More akin to Decoy. As for this card, I don’t think I’ll see it across the table for some time.

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
The effect is really good, but the influence cost really hurts this card. NBN don't play as much bad publicity as Weyland, and Weyland don't have that much influence to spend on this. So, while I see this as a valid "counter" against some future Frame Job deck that might shows up eventually, I don't think we'll see a Broadcast Square-based deck that soon.

Jamieson - 2 out of 5
Great trash to rez cost. I don't think anyone is going to be trashing this card on you. But I don't believe it's adding value to NBN (or any deck right now). Getting it out the way - it does not work with Profiteering. It will one day be a good way to be avoiding Bad Publicity when it becomes more common to get.

SlySquid ~ 3 out of 5
I like this card, more so because I want to see a different type of NBN deck... I hate playing only Midseasons decks, and I think a shell game deck could be a lot of fun, but I also don't think it's very competitive at the moment... But if it ever becomes a thing a card that rezzes for two and trashes for 5 is sick! Time will tell I guess...
[/CRB]

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_corporate-shuffle-double-time.png'] Corporate Shuffle 12 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 3 out of 5
So I’ll probably catch heat for this, but I like it! When you’re all worn down to your last card, drop Corporate Shuffle and you’re back up to speed! Ditch the weak remainder and draw up fresh. Cycling cards you don’t want is a benefit as is, but this baby allows you to keep your click to reward ratio on the positive side.

Hraklea - 2 out of 5
So, you're telling me that after I get hit by 3x Snare! against Jinteki, not only they have Jackson Howard, but they can call Snare! with Reclamation Order and shuffle all of them back into the R&D? I like that! Ok, now seriously... I'm not really hyped about this card. Jackson Howard does the job better.

Jamieson - 4 out of 5
Great, Great Card - At the play cost of zero it has so many great uses. Its lets you reboot your hand with some fresh cards, shuffle back agendas after a hand full of them or just use it as a search tool looking for the card you need (a kill or last Astro Script /agenda for the win). This can replace Anonymous Tip in most decks. I also don't believe the talk that this is a replacement of Jackson Howard. They do 2 different things and there is definitely home for both in a deck.

SlySquid ~ 3 out of 5
The potential to draw 5 cards for two clicks is great! As is the potential to reboot you're hand with 4 agendas!
As you are reading this NBN players around the world are bursting a ridicules amount of money to prep for the Midseasons they need to either Psychographics a Beal or Burn your house down, and with this card they get to just get a whole new hand of economy... This card is doing exactly what it needs to do for it's cost and influence, great card!
[/CRB]

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_caprice-nisei-double-time.png'] Caprice Nisei 17 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 4 out of 5
Saw this beauty across the table a few times this past week, and it is solid. First, you have to get past all the ICE, then you have to make a bit of a wager, then you more often than not end up getting ejected. If you can read your opponent or are just plain lucky, then you’ll be okay. Since credits need to be committed and spent, Caprice Nisei can get expensive to run like a Chimera. All in all, it’s not as brutal as all the hub-bub would indicate. I’m just glad I haven’t seen it in concert with Off The Grid yet.

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
Yeah, yeah, the card is broken, I'm stupid, Jinteki is number #1!!! If you want to spend your influence on that, be my guest. Having 66% chance of failing in a remote run is not a big deal in a world where R&D lock is the king, and good luck trying to hold your centrals with this. Caprice is good, but it is not broken. Deal with it.

Jamieson - 5 out of 5
This is a very strong card, but not without its faults. Low trash cost means you better not let the runner see this before you install ( thats a lot of influence to take up out of faction to not even get her in play) and rezzed and its unique so you can't have more than one server protected. Caprice goes down to one thing “ Do you feel lucky” . With NAPD contract runners should be running now with a little extra cash in their pockets and that could also potentially buy you some extra clicks while they make bank. Caprice is going to stop her share of runs no doubt about that just don't count on her as a hard stop cause when thats what you need, you won't get it. I have also not seen any corp player spend 2 credits on this, not wanting to deplete their own credit pool. I like what this brings to Jinteki the Psi effects are pretty interesting. The other Psi cards didn't really stick around when they came out, interesting to see if she will. So even with down sides her ability when triggered successfully is just really too good to rate below 5 right now.

SlySquid ~ 5 out of 5
Was their any doubt that I was going to give this card anything less then a 5? Nope!
I have been playing Jinteki from day one and let me tell you it's been a long, hard process... As more and more cards helped with R&D lock our traps became less and less impressive, so we have had to adapt to a more "runner compensation" and "rush" style type of deck with all most no cards in faction to help lol but know we get a card that turns the game on its head! I've heard it being called the best corp card printed and I don't know how to argue against it, I've been getting a lot of play with it lately and it is flawless! Expect to see every Teki deck run 3 copies and even a form of recursion because it's just that good!
[/CRB]

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_shinobi-double-time.png'] Shinobi 12 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 3 out of 5
Shinobi is expensive. But, Shinobi is big. Yes, you take a Bad Publicity but you have a really good chance of breaking a runner’s bank rezzing stuff like this over a common watering hole server. In the right deck at the right time, this card alone could spell out a win. That would require a stupendous amount of credits though.

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
Jinteki is not that great, and Fantasy Flight Games want them to trace? Did they know that Andromeda and Mac are still the most popular Runners in the game? That said, I could easily run one of these in a NBN: Making News deck, just to kill the reckless guys that like to run naked. =P

Jamieson - 2 out of 5
For those corporations that run ritch we have the ICE for you. I think this fits better in NBN with all those trace routines. You just basically need credits and a little bit of link and you walk through this without a breaker. There are Jinteki decks now that do make large amounts of cold hard cash but i'm just not seeing the return on investment here. Yes you can potentially kill the runner if all sub routines execute but that first one is easy to break. Base link runners are not scared of this.

SlySquid ~ 4 out of 5
With all the income cards at Jinteki's finger tips right now this card is a very serious deterrent to running without a killer in play, and even then it's going to cost you big to break it... This is a card I was personally waiting for for a very long time, because it does double duty in my deck, it makes the runner go very slow and steady as to not be flatlined which is great when I want to get a few fast scored and it just out right kills people who get to worried that I'm moving faster then they like... It's a monster!
[/CRB]

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_marker-double-time.png'] Marker 5 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 1 out of 5
Marker gets a score of 1 from me. It’s ability is dependent on it’s place in the server, when you get it and it’s useless if the runner has established any breakers. Yog.0 blows through it, or ignores it depending on board position. I didn’t play Sensei, and I probably won’t play this.

Hraklea - 1 out of 5
C'mon! This is worse than Sensei! Seriously, a Code Gate that can be broken by Yog.0 and can be broken by the proper icebreaker that fits the piece of ICE behind it? I don't see any good reason to use this rather than Paper Wall.

Jamieson - 2 out of 5
I have to go with a 2 because I feel it picks up more value out of faction. You have heard me say before that just because Yog can break something does not been its worthless, just look at Quandary. You won't find this in any Jinteki builds from me, but I like what it could add into an HB deck adding more value to those click through Bioroid ICE.

I can't see this ever seeing play, Chum is already on the bubble for me because it needs to be in the right place at the right time and it's LEAPS AND BOUNDS better then this card... Maybe is it was STR 4 it's would work but I just don't see any reason to even consider running it...

Corps3mourn - 3 out of 5
Hive, like Shinobi, is a very expensive endeavour for the runner. Keeping sprinters out nice and early on allow for the corp to take momentum advantage really early on. The runner will need to spend the same amount of credits running past this thing as you did to rez it. I bumped into it once during the tournament and it kept me on my financial heels for the first half of the game.

Hraklea - 4 out of 5
Five credits for five subroutines. It's hard to beat that. Kit + Yog.0 can ignore this, but every other Runner will have to deal with this very expensive to break piece of ICE. Yes, it loses potential as the game is moving on, but sometimes, you only need the first agenda to start pwning. AstroScript Pilot Program and Project Atlas comes to mind.

Jamieson - 5 out of 5
This ICE is AMAZING - Early game ICE does not get much better. This is now auto include for any Weyland and GRNDL loves it. Low influence makes it easy to see out of faction. Protecting that early Astro Script in NBN just got a lot easier. No more instal and pray. Kill decks embrace this. They don't score agendas anyway. It still buys you some time if they try to eat it with Parasite.

SlySquid ~ 4 out of 5
6 for Corridor, 10 for Knight and EVEN 3 for Morningstar! This ice is the real deal, and with an influence of two I can see played over all the factions wanting to make power plays early on in the game... I can't wait to play around with this in my Harmony Medtech deck lol

Corps3mourn - 3 out of 5
I wonder where he’s planning on finding those 2 Bad Pub… All joking aside, This is a great way to clear your Blackmail food. One influence will see Witness Tampering in more deck varieties than just green. Well sir, I like it! I’m positive I’ll see this card on the circuit.

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
My second favorite bad publicity remover so far, losing only to Veterans Program. Two credits and one click is exactly what Elizabeth Mills requires, except that this does it twice. I'm not sure how much play this is going to see, but I will keep one eye at this card.

Jamieson - 1 out of 5
Expensive - Bad Publicity must really be a threat for you to be playing this card. Look elsewhere for the solution to this problem.

SlySquid ~ 3 out of 5
Another "vanilla" card that is just a great addition to the game... Not too much to say it's the same price as clearing two tags and that's something we all do all the time...

[CRB='forums/uploads/an/med_napd-contract-double-time.png'] NAPD Contract 19 out of 20

Corps3mourn - 4 out of 5
So this little fellah was the talk of the town. Comboing it in NBN with Red Herrings or RSVP was the center of attention. There was even a Keyhole deck loss that came about because the corp was primed for a win. Any other agenda would have seen the runner victorious. Even if this thing winds up in the archives, it still costs the runner 4 credits to steal! I can’t wait to see the decks that use and abuse NAPD Contract.

Hraklea - 5 out of 5
This is a 4/2 agenda that comes with a free Red Herrings. I honestly doubt we will ever see a neutral 2 points agenda that will be able to overcome this. This card by itself might be enough to make me play Frame Job. You must have a really good reason not to play this.

Jamieson - 5 out of 5
This is your immediate include in most decks running 4/2 agendas. Its great that any corporation can utilize this card. Runners won't be running with the bare min to break in a server anymore.
Taxing the runner. Nothing Better. You will be seeing this agenda everywhere.

SlySquid ~ 5 out of 5
Good god is this card legit! Hands down the best neutral agenda in the game, close to the best 4/2 agenda over all factions in my opinion edged out only by Nessie MKII...
The fact that the additional cost happens from anywhere is mind blowing, even if you have the money to spend, that is a huge hit to recover from dwarfed only by running a server with all you money and NOT BEING ABLE THE SCORE IT ALL TOGETHER! This card will be in so many decks it's not going to be funny...

Cheap end run in codegate flavour! I’ve been leaving the codegates at home recently because of Kit. This low investment ICE might make me toss back one of my many sentries...

Hraklea - 3 out of 5
Do your friends play Yog.0? Forget Enigma and put this is in your deck. If Yog.0 is not that popular in your meta, you'll probably be better with Enigma. There's not much to say about such simple card.

Jamieson - 4 out of 5
Strong early game ICE. Forcing the runner to find a solution to code gates. Change out your Enigma’s for this guy. 1 credit cost is so helpful. Love this card.

SlySquid ~ 4 out of 5
Awe, look at the little baby Enigma...
Want to keep the runner out until you force him to cough up a decoder? Want that card to cost next to nothing to rez and worth zero influence? Then do I have the ice for you... Great little speed bump that will hit the table a fair amount I think...

Just have to point out (because I'm a pedantic person), Battering Ram take 3 credits to eat Hive. Morning Star still does it for 1 credit.
Actually, Battering Ram takes 6 credits to break a 5 sub Hive.

You're quite right actually; looks like my brain went into temporary meltdown too :P Is there ANY breaker that goes through Hive for 3?
Fall Guy has been an allstar in my Whizzard Siphon deck. Protects Masanori's dumb ass, makes Dataleak Reversal grueling, but more often than not I use it for the econ. An excellent card.

Stealth Chip isn't bad Power Shutdown defense for Criminals running 1 Corroder. Still hard to justfiy the slot for it though.

Queen's Gambit is frustratingly bad. I want to play it, and Anarchs need the econ, but I certainly can't waste an Infiltration to see if its safe (or even fit one in my deck). What if they have nothing down in a remote? They're certainly not playing many facedown assets against Whizzard. And saving the corp 3 clicks and 3 credits on an agenda that I couldn't score anyway still seems very bad. Maybe if the Gambit paid off more, like 3 credits per token, or 4!

I don't think Paintbrush is quite the "Sneakdoor" for Shapers, but it is priced right at 3. Could allow for some interesting remote snipes, and will allow for a plethora of janky Shaper builds, which are fun.

I so want to test Gambit. I've played a few games recently where I've 'planted into an unrezzed SanSan without the creds to trash it, and clicks left over. Be nice to drop some tokens on it and cred up. Just can't bring myself to tinker with it right before I hit Chronos Protocol this weekend.

Fall Guy should be awesome in a DLR deck, I agree.

Cyberfeeder is, until we see a Stealth fracter, pretty much a better card that Dyson Fractal Generator. 1 extra to install, but less influence, works with all your breakers, still protects your Corroder from Power Shutdown, and can even install your Datasuckers for you. Why are you running DFG again?
Gonna run Dyson Fractal in my Shaper deck with a few Stealth chips, plus lockpick and all Stealth Breakers! It's gonna be so fun, except when the corp interrupts my awesome rig construction by scoring 7 points.
Savoir-Faire is the best thing to happen to The Professor in the entirety of Spin. QG becomes at least decent when paired with Singularity, and the combination of Hive and Reclamation Order made Cerebral Imaging completely unbearable.

Overall, a very strong Data Pack.

I think Profiteering + Broadcast Sq we'll get a lot o tongues wagging! It's a shame that combo doesn't seem to work. It does with Hostile Takeover and Geothermal Fracking though! Other than that, I feel this data pack favored a little bit more the Corps. but they still manage to get some new and exciting tools for both sides.
Best art goes to Paintbrush, best flavor text to Witness Tampering and best mechanic to Gyri Labyrinth (man did that card raise some eyebrows or what!? It has very good potential... imagine faceplanting in this and then the Corp rezzes Chairman Hiro) :D
I wholeheartedly agree with what was said on Caprice Nisei! Amazing card but not broken. It costs 4 influence. And it's unique. So it has it's little drawbacks. In my Jinteki deck I don't throw it on remotes hardly at all. I run a Replicating Perfection deck. And so I 99% of the time throw it on a central. Even if they get some agenda's in my archives, good old Caprice is there to wreck havoc. Almost makes me want to splash Isabel McGuire.....

He can only have one in his deck - would it be worth tutoring for it rather than another program do you think?

I can see it now: you're mid-run, you've got the perfect program in hand, a Clone Chip on table, SMC in your heap, and Savoire-Faire somewhere in the deck...

:P seriously though, that's looking for install cost+4, not to mention whatever credits you need to actually use the program you're dropping.
