You really need to work on your inflection on the introducing quote... this time it sounded like she was trying to teach you what salty tasted like.

_And_ you forgot to mention the horrible oversight in the fact. The Free Man is still only a Wild_ing.
Yeah, that one took a couple takes because she kept laughing, so I just had to roll with the one that came out clearly even if the inflection was off.

Once I've finished running the math, I'd like to show that it's not _infinitely_ more difficulty when you add another card to a combo... only geometrically (probably hypergeometrically, but I'm not that good at maths).

I don't Agree with Brett when he talked about FFG trying to kill Combos. I see their Eratta/restricted/Banning as something that FFG is doing in an attempt to remove a game unbalancing combination of cards. Yet they give us so many ways to create combos within each house QoD Dany and dragons, Wex pyke /Support of Hawlaw, TLS/Val. Yes it does suck that there are cards out there that have to have their text modified, but being the optimist that I am, I see it as them maintaining balance/fairness within the game in lieu of obsessively banning cards.
I agree with the previous post regarding combos. There is no way FFG could remove all the combos in this game. It is still entirely possible that their choices of which combos to target (for restriction, banning, errata, etc.) aren't seen as the best targets by some or even most of the community, but nevertheless combos are a major part of this game and cannot be removed even if that were a goal of FFG (which I don't believe is the case).
mmm i don't know, i think what you think are combos are actually just good or very good synergy. I heard someone define combos as something that if you manage to do you automaticly win or wreck your opp.
Indeed, generally, a combination of two cards that work very well together isn't strictly a "combo"- otherwise everything in the game would be a "combo" with a gold producing location. Rather, combos I would say generally have at least 3 pieces and create a repeatable engine for a powerful effect that either wins you the game or wrecks your opponent as FranciscoG says.

For instance I would call Val + TLS a potent combination. I would call TLS + Seal of the Crown + Ghost of High Heart a combo.
