Now we will not be focusing on power meta decks, the truth is I split my attention over so many games that I am not really able to field torny quality decks. Though I will most likely do Deck Techs on publicly posted Torny decks after the event now and then.
Instead I'm going to focus on fun decks that do not necessarily require the entire card pool and are able to be constructed and played by new and old players alike.
In some cases I'll be enlisting the deck building skills of a mate form the forums who is more expert in deck building.
Hope you like it!

Deck Tech PlayList
Here is a fun non-competitive deck for Call of Cthulhu made from only 2xCore Set + Seekers of Knowledge and Key to the Gate, the 2 latest big box expansions. This deck is a slightly modified version of a casual test deck ArkhamInmate was working on called "My Science Project". The original deck list is fairly close, then he and I then tweaked it to restrict the card pool while trying to improve it along the way.. it should still be very functional.
We have built the deck to not only be playable and fun to use but also to demonstrate a bunch of CoC game mechanisms that new players will need to get a grip on. Like transient / steadfast / prophecies / discard pile triggers / cost reduction / deck manipulation etc. We left out steadfast to make the deck easier to pilot for new players so the deck is a little more forgiving in regards to resourcing.
Anyway, a fun deck able to hold its own at the coffee table, made with only two recentish packs that should be easy to find and designed for new players! Hope you like it!
I'm might do more deck tech videos, for a wide range of games in the future!

Btw. Another hurdle for beginners is the badly written rule book.
There are so many topics which are poorly covered, most advanced stuff is simply missing. Even with the faq 3.0 it's horrible for beginners.
Without the advise of "pros" & articles like above, just a monocore in their hands, many new players will simply get insane before they are able to make some steps onto the steep learning curve and master this game.
Short: your vid is a great help.
"love it love it love it."
