Probably the learned crest comes from a Tyrion quote: "half the lords in Westeros are not as learned sadly" and by the fact that he is well educated considering his age. So I would say it is nedly for him to have it.

Those two words look like they derivate from french.

Should sound like "boschom" and "bovuar". But I am only guessing.
Scary things happen, when one language rape another language. Their children are usually very ugly o.O.

My condolences if you know what the word "handy" in german language is.

Loved the episode but was saddened when there was no Darrell intro, especially when he went on at length about his mouth trumpet hubris !!!

But Cumberbatch seems pretty simple really. How on earth you can think Batch is pronounced as Botch or Boch I don't know. The clue is that there is an "a" in it.

How long will it be until the spin off podcast "2 Champs 1 Chumpeter : A Mouth Trumpet Podcast"?

It isn't pronounced Boch or Botch either.

And it is German (meaning brook iirc) so they have their own rules. They like words such as Schwarzwaldenkirscheskuchen after all...

Lol, well, I was more meaning the name (as in Johan Sebastian), but yes, it's a Germanic pronunciation regardless.

But yeah, German compound nouns are awesome. In a non-sarcastic way. They crack me up.
