DWDW spoilers:
The small council after Cersei's arrest:
Also, when you're discussing 2nd Ed cards, feel free to have this spreadsheet open so you don't have to try and remember what cards we've seen already.
Something just occurred to me listening to the cast. The wording on the Master of Whisperers is:
'You may resolve your [Intrigue] claim against any number of opponents of your choice.'
So can that number be 0? Can you choose not to resolve your claim at all? If so I think this title is much better. If there are ways to get power of off winning Int, or you just have Int icons with Renown, you can probably bargain to net a free challenge win off of someone on the assurance that you won't discard their cards. Its also a really nice option for playing the good cop I'm-not-trying-to-hurt-anyone-here line, which is really fun.
The episode was already running pretty long with the melee discussion and the CP review, but Aaron did throw out some props.
Wow. Queen of Thorns sounds pretty awesome. You could over commit in a challenge fully knowing that winning it will allow you to toss a Tyrell character into play from your hand for another challenge or defense. Sweet.
What is the name of the tune playing at the beginning (just after the excerpt)?
The very first music there is Fight the Sea by Josh Woodward.
"You know the end is coming when Will & I agreed on the last 15 cards" - Aaron.
Yup.
I think I know why 4-5-1 is the best plotline, but I don't want to make the show worse by appearing on it...
Because 4-5-1 is the top stats before you have to start compromising. ie restrictions, bad effects start to happen at 5 gold such as twist of fate, around 6 initiative gets lower gold usually and 2 claim usually has repercussions such as bad gold, bad initiative... there are exceptions...
