A New Approach to Providing Content

How about a new article next?
You got it!

In an attempt to bridge the gap between podcasts/videos and written content, I decided to write a sort of wrap up of the Wardens of the Midwest Podcast Episode 3. I doubt I'll have time to do this for every episode, and I doubt every episode would fit into an article structure, but I figured it would be a good way to provide for more than just the podcast crowd.
I tried to make it follow along with the podcast as closely as I could, so if it seems disorganized, that is because we were disorganized on the podcast haha.
Is this something that you have an interest in reading? Or did I just waste my Monday morning?

I very rarely listen to podcasts in their entirety (I try, but tend to drift off!) so reading articles is much easier. This was a good writeup - cheers!
As for your card suggestions - The only one I really disagree with is Red Vengeance coming back (although we all assume it is!). I really don't like the lose-to-win effects that punish the opponent for playing the game. Those kind of effects just lead to the opponent not making challenges and very 1-sided games and I'm not a fan. Cards like The Boneway are much better ways of giving an advantage to the Martell player without crippling the opponent for doing what they're supposed to do.
I'd like to see Corpse Lake though. It'd be a nice secondary power-gain for Greyjoys and could potentially be the start of a second Euron-focused deck, rather than the ZOMG-Balon! decks that we get now.
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I know a large portion of the playerbase doesn't have time for podcasts, so rather than just producing episode after episode, I figured I'd try to get the information on our podcast out to the non listeners as well, if possible.
I get what you're saying about Red Vengeance. I just know, as a defensive player who focuses on Night's Watch and Martell, it can be difficult to punish decks that just run all the big characters and kill events.
If defense is going to be a theme, there needs to be some way for them to benefit from their opponent's brash playstyle.
I've never seen someone who's going first do all 3 challenges against a deck more often than they do against a Wall deck. Because they know there will be no retribution. I think there should be some risk in doing a military challenge just to make me kneel my characters, even when I have Aemon and they don't gain any claim or power out of it. There should be some risk in doing an intrigue challenge when I don't have a hand. Those are things that they wouldn't normally do, other than to force me to kneel the Wall.
By introducing reactions to their brash playstyle, it will occasionally make the aggressor think twice about bashing their face into the Wall over and over again just because.
That's what Watcher on the Walls will do and that's what I think Red Vengeance and His Viper Eyes will do.
It'll add some interactivity to a Wall deck, and isn't that what people have been asking for?
I thought Corpse Lake was an excellent suggestion for Greyjoy. Right now they feel so one dimensional. It'd be nice if they could begin to introduce more pillage and mill effects in the coming chapter packs.
