This is our second bonus episode, and is in addition to our regular weekly casts. In this bonus episode, we review the "The Champion's Purse" chapter pack with the help of past guest Florian M (livingend).

Please keep in mind that in order to get these to you promptly, these bonus episodes include no additional segments, limited editing, and, accordingly, run longer (and further off-topic) than our regular episodes.

As the cast is an "enhanced" podcast in m4a format, you may have to download it rather than use the default in-browser player. Subscribe using our RSS feed, or by looking us up on Itunes.

I have a little bit of a bone to pick with cardgamedb regarding the posting of podcasts. It is often several hours (or even days) before the podcasts (yours and 2C1C) show up on iTunes. This can be remidied very easily if cardgamedb was to go through google feedburner. I host an indie podcast and when we post on our website it takes about 10 minutes before it appears on iTunes and other streaming sites. I know this isn't necasarily in your hands but I'm going to email the folks at cardgamebd too.
You know I love the cast but I just want to be able to commute while listening!

This is actually a multi-pronged thing. I actually *do* go through feedburner, using the RSS feed from Cardgamedb. The cardgamedb feed caches and only updates once a day, and the timing isn't consistant (as far as I can tell). Well, it seems to consistantly be about 24 hours after I post, regardless of when I do!

From the time where the feedburner is updated, it can still take 2-3 days for the episode to show up on itunes - that varies quite a bit, and its in itunes hands, unfortunately.

Yeah, I notice it more with the other shows than yours. Usually when I see it posted here it shows up on iTunes pretty quick.
Looking forward to listening to this one... as soon as it drops on iTunes. ;)
