That's just something that grinds my gears when it comes to rating cards. Sometimes I forget that 3 out of 5 is still pretty good even though it makes me think of a C average in a class. haha.
From A Wiki of Ice and Fire: "Aegon is well educated and intelligent, speaking several languages, and is well versed in history. He speaks the Common Tongue as a native speaker. He is fluent in High Valyrian, in the Bastard Valyrian dialects of Pentos, Tyrosh, Myr, and Lys, and in Trade Talk. He is a novice at speaking the dialect of Volantis, only familiar with a few of its words. The dialect of Meereen, whose terms derive from both Valyrian and Ghiscari, gives him trouble. He has some training in mathematics, with a decent knowledge of sums and a limited understanding of geometry. He also has been trained in songs. Tyrion notes that Aegon is more learned than 'half the lords in Westeros'."
http://awoiaf.wester...egon_Targaryen.
In the interest of being a smart Alec, though, I can't resist pointing out that:
Of all the "Lords" in Westeros, to date only Doran, Willas, Tyrion (x2), Varys and Littlefinger are Learned. (6 total).
Given that there are 131 Lords in the database, about 10 of which are not "of Westeros", that means that 6/121 are Learned.
To earn a learned crest, you'd have to be more learned than ~95% of the Lords of Westeros!
Strictly speaking, being more learned than 95% of the lords of westeros does fall within the description of "more than half".... so... you win. But I had fun.
Also, I think a lot of players' standards for earning the learned crest are higher than the developers'. After all Missandei, Dolorous Edd, and Old Nan are learned.
Learned =/= maester knowledge
Guess she was incredibly easy to forget since she was such a boring card upon release.
