Click here for the podcast.In this week's episode, Istaril and Darknoj discuss some more FFG news, HBO news, and the Thrones-related April Fool's jokes, including an FAQ. They briefly discuss the current meta, and then go over the Annals of Castle Black's first 'season', as well as its future. Finally, to close up the FAQ 'season', they interview the winner of one of the major tournaments that spanned most of the season: Florian M. His tournament report and decklists can be found on agotcards.

I'll include a link to the article discussing the Meta-game and the season in retrospect once it is up.
My name is Zaid al khaled and I own/run Good Game which is the shop that has the middle east regionals. We don't have any American army players. Kuwait is an extremely diverse country with 50% of the population being expatriates. We host regionals for thrones, x wing and netrunner.
Our meta is very similar to the global meta as the players here are very well informed. Our store championships was 13 man strong and the top five played the following decks:
1. Greyjoy old ways
2. Lannister house of dreams tunnels
3. Greyjoy choke
4. Lannister power behind the throne with lots of Tyrrell melee
5. Martell kothh event recycle
Our player base is mostly Kuwaiti but for the store championships there were Irish, Egyptian and Phillipino players.
My apologies for assuming there might be a connection with the American Military - as I mentioned on facebook, I wasn't aware of a Arabic localized AGOT, and jumped to some misinformed conclusions.
In my (admitedly limited) experience, the level of English of the Kuwaiti is generally high, so it shouldn't have been too surprising to me to see you play with the same cardpool!
