Thanks to Dan for getting on this episode. Liked highlighting some of your experience at the melee tourney and the final table with some of the thought process in the game.
I had some audio issues in the middle of the episode, where some noise overlapped the voices.
Yeah - I noticed that upon assembly. Unfortunately it was from the same channel as the relevant voices, so somewhat hard to get rid of (or at least, difficult for someone of my rudimentary audio skills).
I just received the tabletop game Munchkin, and I couldn't help but notice similarities to Thrones Melee -- Don't appear too threatening, don't piss anyone off, and then rush to a win from out of nowhere. I'm horrible at all of those things.
Alex I think the card you design really should be littlefinger not sure if anyone has ever told you this before but you look a lot like him (:
It's occured to me (I think two people asked me to do the Aiden Gillen voice at worlds), but I think FFG's policy is that if you are included in the art, you cannot be a named character from the series. This saddens me.
Yes that is true unfortunately. However, think you could make a case for yourself.
You could be a guy in his brothel in the background.
Your mother smelt of elderberries!
Seriously though, great episode. Glad John made sure to bring up the treachery of the Silver Fox. That guy is not to be trusted!
