I think there's some potential for fun with this agenda. The obvious comparison point is Alliance. Alliance's downside is present from the start, whereas Conquest's requires you to lose the cards you're playing it for. This means that whereas to get the most use from Alliance you want to have the largest number of out-of-house cards possible, with Conquest you want to cherrypick a lot more carefully and take only those cards you can justify the prized on. Of course, the smaller the number of cards you take, the less point there is in not just sucking it up and paying the out-of-house gold penalty, so this agenda requires you to find a very specific sweetspot - enough to make it worth running it and foregoing another agenda (or the benefits of not running one), but not so many that you'll be consistently losing those cards and feeding your opponents power. I'm not saying that sweetspot doesn't exist, but it's very narrow and will be difficult for the agenda to find breathing space in.
mnBroncos - 4 out of 5
I am not sure the first deck I will try with this but I know this is arguably the best treaty-like agenda in the game and giving more options to those decks are amazing. The fact that out of house cards actually have no downside until leave play is great as well. I will definitely have to rebuild my To the Spears! deck with this.
Paladin - 4 out of 5
I’m excited to see this card, as I’m a fan of unusual builds, and being able to bring in OOH cards in an easier fashion should encourage some novel builds. It’s better than Treaty because, while you might end up giving more than five power over the course of the game, you have some control over when to give it up. Or if you even risk it. And Alliance always just seemed to give such a big boost to an opponent, whereas a gain of a power won’t necessarily swing the game so much. Indeed, adding Prized could help you, if you have some solid Power challenge potential to take it right back.
scantrell24 – 3 out of 5
Conquest probably isn’t worth the opportunity cost of running another agenda. If you run more than 10-12 to cards from another House then you’re better off with a Treaty or Alliance. If you run less than 10 to 12 OOH cards with Conquest then you’re not getting enough impact out of your agenda. I’m a fan of the idea behind Conquest, because Lanni Treaty with the Isles was one of my favorite decks in the game, but the execution seems lacking. Maybe there’s some kind of build that rushes or locks the game down so quickly that the drawback of the agenda doesn’t matter, but in that case how is this any different than a Treaty agenda? And how often do those see play? With that said, I reserve the right to increase this score depending on how much support the Prized keyword receives.
Sygmaghost94 - 3 out of 5
This agenda is very interesting. It almost seems like a playable version of the treaty agendas. So the benefit of running out-of-House cards is obviously huge because the down side to this agenda is so great. All of the OOH characters gain prized 1 when leaving play, so unless you can save your characters, you will be giving your opponent a decent amount of power on Valar turns. Or you could just not run a lot of OOH characters, in which case, why run this agenda? And while your locations are more safe than your characters, a well timed Favorable Ground or Fleeing to the Wall could ruin your day. Now, I’m not saying this agenda is bad by any stretch. For now, I’m saying it’s kind of average. It has a lot of potential, but also a lot of risk.

Ire & WWDrakey - 2 out of 5
Useful?
Shagga says: Not give axes, only tie legs. Hard catch goat without running.
JCWamma - 4 out of 5
Plot spaces are important and are at a premium. Unlike a draw deck, the larger your plot deck is the better - the more options it leaves you, the more it allows you to tech against specific bad match-ups when building your deck, etc. The one downside of having a larger plot deck is that if you rely on specific plots, you cannot access them so quickly. This downside coincides with the downside of the agenda itself, that of your plots gaining prized. Both these two downside combine to give a clear picture of the type of deck that should run this - a deck that doesn't intend to let its opponent get close to 15 power, that won't rely on specific powerful control effects, and that intends to win quickly but has some vulnerabilities it needs to protect itself from. Essentially, this is going to be a highly powerful agenda for a fair few varieties of aggro and rush decks.
mnBroncos - 4 out of 5
I have always wanted to use more plot decks always and here we get the chance too. This is useful for both rush and aggro decks adding in utility, control could try it but don’t think quite as good for those builds. I don’t know if the best decks will ever run this but think can make many 1.5 decks with this agenda.
Paladin - 4 out of 5
Another nicely designed card. This is kind of the Maester’s Path of plots--a toolbox resource that allows you to be prepared for a variety of problems. It does kind add a ticking clock of sorts, as each round you grant your opponent a power, but, again, you can turn this to your advantage if you find ways to take it back.
scantrell24 – 4 out of 5
A Defiance deck will want to win quickly before the power it’s giving away starts to accumulate on the opponent’s House card. Also, any given plot card won’t come around for a second time until turn 11 at the earliest; in other words, you won’t be Valar-ing a second time. In exchange for those penalties, a whole host of silver bullet plots are now at your disposal, including Forgotten Plans, The King’s Law, and Rule by Decree to name a few. I expect good but not great results.
Sygmaghost94 - 3 out of 5
This is another very interesting agenda. With the use of three additional plots, you will most likely have an answer for everything. This can be very beneficial to non-control decks. The more rush and aggressive based builds will utilize these extra plots for “answers†to control decks. They will be running plots like Forgotten Plans and Rule by Decree without diluting their normal plot lineup. The reason this isn’t as effective for control decks is because they want to cycle through their plots. These decks will run Bungled Orders, Shadows and Spiders, and Valar and will want to reuse them in a timely manner. It’s hard to say right now how much these extra plots will help, especially considering that you give your opponent more power when using them. As of right now, I’m gonna say this is an average card.

Smuggler? Black Sails! Prized? No problem. Stand? Good. Baratheon Weenie? Mostly bad? This? Good!
Shagga says: Like Smuggler, especially seasoned with pepper and goat.
JCWamma - 3 out of 5
The response is fairly difficult to judge right now. If Baratheon get a strong renown character with prized, this guy could shoot up significantly in power. At the time of writing though, the response is fairly unimpressive. What is impressive is that he's a 1 cost Smuggler, the first one to enter the game. He is Salladhor Saan's best friend, in short. The Naval enhancement on a cheap body will be very useful for Baratheon Black Sails too. Prized 1 is low enough that the downside of his Ally trait probably won't hurt so badly, but it's something to keep in mind.
mnBroncos - 4 out of 5
Bara Black Sails seems to be one of bara’s best builds and this guy definitely doesn’t hurt that build and others. Stand is very big and in a house that is trying to rush at a point even if its not a typical Bara deck will often benefit from prize making sure their is always power for you to steal.
Paladin - 3 out of 5
I like the Smuggler theme, and this guy fits in well. I think he’ll probably be a 4 by the end of the cycle when there will hopefully be some stellar Baratheon prized characters.
scantrell24 – 4 out of 5
I’m a big fan of the naval enhancement on weenies, and I expect that response to get out of hand quickly in Conquest decks.
Sygmaghost94 - 4 out of 5
Wow, this card is pretty nifty. Weenies in Baratheon are always welcome, but a weenie this good was long overdue. His 1 cost for 2 str already make him an efficient card, but his effectiveness goes far beyond his cost efficiency. He has a naval enhancement on his power icon which makes him an almost must-have in Bara Black Sails decks, which we all know are extremely competitive builds. After all this good stuff, this guy has an effect that I can predict getting very annoying to deal with. He says that after you win a power challenge in which he participated, you get to stand any prized card. Now, while we haven’t seen too many prized cards for Bara, I can already see some crazy combos with this and the new version of The Wall coming out later in the cycle. This card does have some downsides with the prized keyword and the Ally trait, but other than those minor setbacks, this guy is great.

5? 5. Castellan. Cersei. Brigands. Red Queen’s Faithful. Duplicated Red Viper? 5! Southron Mercenaries. Duplicated Maester. Wintertime Marauders. Meera into Shadow? Nope. Meera stay! Maege? Fetch? Nope. Bouncy? Nope. Die? Yes. Newly Made Lord? No problem. Salladhor? No problem!
Shagga says: Bridge good, more goats across.
JCWamma - 2 out of 5
It's an interesting effect, but one that I don't see finding its way into too many decks, because as ever deck spaces are at a premium. I'm just not sure when exactly you're going to be thrilled to see this card turn up. It's great for stopping duplicates from firing, and there are certainly some other characters you'd want to stop triggering their abilities, but unless you're in a meta full of Wintertime Marauders, Cersei Lannisters, etc., I'm just not sure this sees much play. Furthermore, the most popular triggered abilities right now are "comes into play" abilities - Dale Seaworth, Sansa Stark, Coldhands, etc. - and this location cannot touch them.
mnBroncos - 5 out of 5
For a one cost location I don’t see why you wouldn’t run this card. Sure you can’t cancel the come into play effects but I doubt many decks are going to pay 4 for Iron Throne out of house. So for one less can cancel still many effects that are damaging to you.
Paladin - 4 out of 5
I don’t see any reason for a Baratheon deck not to run at least one copy of this. It will either be super useful, or only marginally useful. And if it’s the latter, well, you paid one gold for it, and get repeatable cancel, so why complain?
scantrell24 – 4 out of 5
Bitterbridge is good on setup, repeatable, and versatile. It’s similar to Frozen Moat -- one of my favorite Stark locations -- but I think Bitterbridge becomes the last location cut from a lot of Baratheon decks.
Sygmaghost94 - 4 out of 5
I can’t think of a good reason why you wouldn’t run at least one of these in every Baratheon deck. I mean, wow. This card is crazy good. The fact that it is immune to character abilities protects it from those pesky Newly Made Lords or Salladhor Saan. For just one gold, this has the power to stop so many amazing characters, which include, but are not limited to: Alannys, Murenmure, Wendamyr, Luwin, Meera, and so much more. This thing isn’t even prized!

Baratheon? Lords! Ladies! Challenge? Any! Steal? Excellent. Iron Throne? Yes please. Prized? Power? Steal. Good!
Shagga says: Warhammer? Can I get two?
JCWamma - 5 out of 5
This is a mighty-powerful card, well-worthy of its prized 1 keyword. Lord or Lady is an important condition on this card, but in most Baratheon decks you will be able to muster up at least one. And this effect stomps all over the current meta. Against Lannister? Well I'll take the Golden Tooth Mines or Pentoshi Manor you didn't pick. Against Knights of the Hollow Hill? Well since you had to choose The Red Keep to stop your entire gameplan from falling apart, I'll take whatever other incredibly powerful location you have out (Meereen Tourney Grounds? Black Cells? Lost Oasis? At worst, Kingsroad Fiefdom?). Assuming that the Lady you won the challenge with wasn't Brienne the response is cancellable, but that's the only saving grace for pretty much every control deck in the meta right now. Game-changer.
mnBroncos - 5 out of 5
Maybe my favorite card in the pack this is very, very, very powerful! Sure you may not take the number one location but stealing an opponent's second most important location multiple times possibly is very damaging.
Paladin - 3 out of 5
Fun card, and Nedly to boot. Too bad it’s dependent on your opponent having a non-limited location that you can take to begin with. Some deck archetypes don’t venture too far afield in that area, and early game could also just be sitting in your hand. And the Prized seems excessive. But when it works, could really change the board up!
scantrell24 – 4 out of 5
Location stealing is miles better than location discarding, and many Baratheon decks won’t even blink at the Lord/Lady trigger condition.
Sygmaghost94 - 3 out of 5
Baratheon has an abundance of Lords and Ladies, so triggering this effect will not be too hard. This card will have some great matchups against Lannister and other Bara decks. For the most part, I can see this just being used to annoy your opponent. I mean, yeah you’ll be able to steal those Pentoshi Manors and Meereen Tourney Grounds, but I can see a lot of situations where you’re forced to take an Iron Cliffs or a Kingsroad Fiefdom. Which, once again, isn’t bad because it messes with your opponent, but it doesn’t necessarily bring any direct benefit to you. And you give your opponent a power after you play this. Pretty average card overall.

JCWamma - 5 out of 5
I don't know what to dislike about this card. 3/3/Bicon/Keyword is the standard for awesome. On top of that, the keyword in question is arguably the best aggro keyword in the game (at least out of the non-house-specific ones). On top of that, a Naval Enhancement in one of the better houses for Black Sails. On top of that, text that will have any Greyjoy rush deck beating the unopposed drum all day long. On top of that, a trait which has strong synergy, particularly with Longship Grief, a card that can combine with this to give you two unopposed challenges a turn. 3 STR and Melee mean that if the challenge wasn't already unopposed he's adding at least 4 STR, so that ability will be really easy to use. Can't wait to play with him!
mnBroncos - 5 out of 5
I am not giving this card a five for an overpowered ability but because of just how efficient it is. 3 strength melee is extremely hard to win against and with being non-unique once two get on the board good luck winning military challenges with many decks.
Paladin - 4 out of 5
Big boost to Black Sails, great ability for unopposed decks, solid stats, great card overall.
scantrell24 – 4 out of 5
Yes, please. I can’t wait to slot 2 or 3 of these into my Black Sails deck just for the naval enhancement and melee keyword, but the unopposed synergy with Victarion’s Scheme and Rise of the Kraken is icing on the cake.
Sygmaghost94 - 5 out of 5
Greyjoy wasn’t asking for another 3 cost character, but damn, this one is beyond good. The 3-for-3 bicon with a good trait and a naval enhancement is enough to warrant this guy a 3 out of 5. Give him an awesome keyword and suddenly he jumps to a 4. But to top it all off with an effect that will effectively help you gain power and bring you that much closer to victory is what makes him a solid 5 out of 5. The fact that he is non-unique is another great feature for him. He doesn’t compete with other unique character options and you can easily run multiple copies without fear of losing him to the dead pile. He is a huge boon to Greyjoy Black Sails decks, which is arguably the best deck for that house right now. His Raider trait makes him awesome for Longship Grief decks. Finally, his naval enhancement on the military icon and melee keyword make him amazing in any aggro based build. There is nothing wrong with this card and there is so much right with him. This is what warrants a 5 out of 5.

Houses? No houses! Limited? No Limited. Weenies? Horde. Resources? No need! Horde will raid. Axe? Longaxe! Prized? One. Pfft.
Shagga says: AXE!
JCWamma - 4 out of 5
I like this. It's a highly powerful effect but it almost has anti-synergy with the house. This is going to open up some new decks. Greyjoy KotHH choke, perhaps? Or just a weenie rush that isn't bothered about keeping locations out, because it knows it will need them less than the opponent? Another kick in the location-heavy control teeth, a fact I'm not displeased about. Also for the shagga players out there notice that firstly, the effect can be saved from, and secondly, it only stops you playing locations, not putting them into play. That means that if you want to, you can still run a fair few locations but protect them through Gormond Goodbrother or Outfitted for War, and bring them back into play with the likes of Iron Lore and First Mate. I don't know how competitive such a deck would be but it sounds fun to me already.
mnBroncos - 4 out of 5
It will only go in a select few decks, but the effect is so strong it is hard not to give it a four.
Paladin - 3 out of 5
A powerful effect, but I don’t see it going into a ton of Greyjoy decks. With all the Iron Mines and ships that Greyjoy plays, why reset the locations? In some decks it can be really nice, but it’s far from an auto-include.
scantrell24 – 3 out of 5
The Reaver’s Song requires a deck built entirely around it. Thankfully the Krakens already own a few location-save effects and ways to cheat locations into play, but they need more before this event becomes reliable.
Sygmaghost94 - 3 out 5
This card…just what? Discard every location in play. Every. Single. Location. Ever! For you at least. I don’t believe this is something you build a deck around, unless you want a really janky deck that will almost never win. No, I see this as a one of you slot into a few very good Greyjoy decks that you use as a last resort or to close out a game. The fact that it is an event and it has the prized keyword AND you can’t play locations for the rest of the game make this a somewhat mediocre card. But don’t be fooled, this card will change the game when it hits the board.

JCWamma - 2 out of 5
A card that will only get stronger with time. I'm inclined to think that it'll never really be too worth it though, unless House Frey becomes a significantly synergistic trait in the future. For 3 gold I like to see more than just beef, especially when it's only beefy in a single challenge.
mnBroncos - 3 out of 5
It should probably only be a 2 but I have a strong feeling that this is a sign we will see a good amount of House Frey characters in the future. If you have one guy that can easily be at around 8 strength during mil challenges with just two other characters on the board, this guy can get strong real fast.
Paladin - 3 out of 5
Having a character with 4str in Military challenges that can grow larger if you have multiples isn’t a bad ability. Throw in some Campfire Mimes for added fun. Too bad it’s only in Military challenges that any of that matters, otherwise they revert to an overcosted character.
scantrell24 – 1 out of 5
If every Lannister character from now until eternity possesses the House Frey trait… the answer will still be “noâ€. Hard pass. I might just throw it away because it’s not even worth a binder spot. The “no attachments†keyword doesn’t even begin to redeem such a waste of cardboard.
Sygmaghost94 - 1 out of 5
As of right now, with this being the only House Frey card out (besides that terrible Walder Frey), this is just not good. Lannister has much better 3 cost armies which are actually cost efficient and aren’t only good in one challenge. Until the Frey theme kicks off, this guy will take up space in your folder.

So a house-specific Milk of the Poppy that costs one less but only blanks the character in challenges. There are certain characters this will be great to put on - your Cersei Lannisters, your Red Vipers, your Beric Dondarrions, your Stannis Baratheons - so it will be a meta-call as to whether or not it's worth it. In most cases though I'd rather take the broader use of Milk of the Poppy over this.
mnBroncos - 2 out of 5
I know a lot of people play Milk of the Poppy, but I am not one of them so I don’t see me playing this card very often...maybe if Traitor hate becomes a thing.
Paladin - 2 out of 5
I’m struggling to think of when I would ever use this over Milk of the Poppy. And the answer is, I really wouldn’t.
scantrell24 – 2 out of 5
Traitor is a nice utility card. It’s a great fit in Lanni Black Sails -- if the Lions ever receive more naval enhancements. BUT attachments still suck. Restricting Tin Link really wasn’t enough. Let’s add Dragon Thief to the list, m’kay? There’s no need for attachment hate when they’re inherently pathetic.
Sygmaghost94 - 1 out of 5
Why would you ever run this card? Milk of the Poppy may cost 1 more, but it blanks the character forever! There are a great number of characters that won’t be participating in challenges but still have some crazy effects that you would love to blank. This card is just…no. If you ever want to run this card, stop, pick up Milk, and use that instead.

Shagga says: Bald guy scary, but Shagga not fear.
JCWamma - 4 out of 5
To be a hypocrite considering what I said about Frey Armsmen, I think efficiency in characters is underrated. The stealth helps his cause greatly in this regard. Is prized 2 too high? It's difficult to say at this point, just like it's difficult to say how useful the passive text will be. If prized does become very significant, Doran will become a boss and combined with cards like Ghost of High Heart you'll probably make far more power than the 2 you will eventually be giving your opponent. The learned crest is nice too, helping to potentially reopen doors for Martell with regards to Maester rush.
mnBroncos - 4 out of 5
3 gold for a four strength stealth and two icons already is great. A learned crest, although can’t work with Ghaston, but a card that can use Outwit is always interesting. And a test that although may not be great right away can end up massing you a good amount of power, so overall a very very solid card that should probably be in every non-ghaston Martell deck in the future.
Paladin - 2 out of 5
A very narrow ability saved by a 4str for 3 cost. But then brought down again by Prized 2! I don’t really see the need for Prized on him, given how focused his ability is.
scantrell24 - 4 out of 5
This version of Doran Martell sports a different crest from the one commonly seen in Ghaston Grey builds, so they aren’t competing for deck space, which is good. Also good are the stealth, high strength, learned crest and passive ability.
Sygmaghost94 - 2 out of 5
Let’s all remember that prized is a negative quality, much like a bad trait, and will effectively hurt the value of a card. This card, however, is brought down for several reasons. Yes, it is very cost efficient as a 3-for-4 bicon with stealth, but those are it’s only redeeming qualities. This version of Doran sports the learned crest, which isn’t bad, but now you are giving up the potential to run the noble Doran to use in conjunction with Ghaston Grey. On top of this loss in opportunity cost, this Doran has a very conditional ability that probably won’t get much use the entire time he is in play. Between the bad keyword, lack of noble crest, lousy effect, and opportunity cost, this guy is pretty sub-par.

Other than Lannister, basically nobody runs monocon intrigue characters except for Martell. This card will, in many cases, effectively read "you win intrigue challenges on attack", or alternatively if the opponent has no stealth/deadly "you win intrigue challenges on defense", and is cheap and non-unique. The House Dayne trait is always interesting too. Prized 1 is a tiny, tiny price to pay in my eyes.
mnBroncos - 2 out of 5
Yes this character is good, however, I still don’t think many Martell decks run this guy... For 2 gold and having prize I would want something better. Martell already can win intrigue challenges pretty comfortably so using a card slot for this character doesn’t seem worth it.
Paladin - 3 out of 5
I like this card, but 2 gold and Prized 1 for a monocon is a bit expensive.
scantrell24 – 4 out of 5
She’s easily stealthed when you’re defending, but nonetheless it’s cheap, repeatable challenge control.
Sygmaghost94 - 3 out of 5
Again, prized is not a good thing. This card is really good as it functions as a character that will single-handedly win intrigue challenges on offense and defense alike. The 2 cost really isn’t that bad and the monocon, in this case, is actually a good thing. The only downside with this card is that it is prized and so it drops down from a 4 to a 3.

Shagga says: Shagga no murder children, not make good eatings. Goats make better eatings.
JCWamma - 3 out of 5
Prized 2 matters here in a way it doesn't so much on characters, because you are always giving your opponent that power when you play the card. This is for an effect that is clearly best-suited for decks running lots of powerful influence effects, which is typically a slow deck to win with. Additionally, the event is cancellable. That effect though, it's very powerful without doubt. Never underestimate deck knowledge - knowing whether or not your opponent runs Lethal Counterattack, say, or I'm You Writ Small, or whether they had 2 or 3 copies of Paper Shield, will always be very useful. Knowledge of what they currently have in hand for a house that often lacks that knowledge is just icing.
mnBroncos - 3 out of 5
Although the effect is limited and may want to hold onto the card until can trigger on a strong (probably non-unique character) the clear great advantage of this card is to search the whole deck. So with that in mind those that like to really think during games will love the utility of this card.
Paladin - 3 out of 5
Paying two influence AND giving up two power is kind of a steep price for an effect that may result in a discard and then fizzle, since running one copy of characters is prevalent in most decks, with very few characters seeing multiples in decks. Still, the intelligence gathering potential of this is huge. Or maybe not, if you’re playing against a common deck archetype.
scantrell24 – 4 out of 5
You Murdered Her Children loses a point if KotHH is restricted in the next FAQ as widely expected. In the current environment with 2 influence readily available, it’s an incredibly strong 2-for-1 effect that both discards a character and provides knowledge of the opponent’s entire deck.
Sygmaghost94 - 4 out of 5
This card is horribly strong. Not only does it remove any character for potentially the rest of the game, but it also gives you knowledge. With cards like Confession, Aegon’s Hill, and Waste Their Time, we’ve seen how powerful hand knowledge is. But this card takes it a step further. This card is the first in the LCG that gives deck knowledge! Find out immediately if your opponent is running cancels and plan around that. See if they are using dupes of uniques and use that to your advantage. For the price of 2 power and 2 influence, you get to remove a character and learn all of your opponent’s tricks and secrets.

Immunity? Good. Leaves play? Awesome. Noble? Good. Put into play? Great! Catelyn? Competition! Prized 2? Big drawback.
Shagga says: Shagga no like fishlady, fishlady look angry. Shagga eat goat, think fishlady notice?
JCWamma - 4 out of 5
I think it will be very easy to overlook her because of Catelyn Stark (LoW), but she's well-worth the Prized 2. Between her and the Edmure spoiled from the next pack, Stark can basically safely run 3 of whichever uniques they want, which makes decks built around those characters far more playable. If you can find ways to bounce her, she'll be a resurrection machine.
mnBroncos - 4 out of 5
Very very very good card, and it has to be so you would chose to run a different Catelyn. This will take a lot of thinking when building your deck but having a character that is more than good when in play and then replaces her self when leaves play..not much more could ask for from a character.
Paladin - 4 out of 5
Now that’s an ability I would pay 2 power to use. Losing one character to bring back another one can be an awesome comeback ability, or even a great push to the win moment. Nice and Nedly.
scantrell24 - 4 out of 5
The immunity and noble crest are nice, but Prized 2 on a character that you want to eventually leave play is risky. Bringing Meera, Robb, the Blackfish, Brienne, etc back from the dead might be enough to tempt Stark players away from Jumping Catelyn.
Sygmaghost94 - 3 out of 5
What the hell is she holding?! I want to say it’s a bloody dagger, but the kid in me is thinking something more fallac. Anyways, this version of Catelyn is pretty good with the ability to recur your strong Stark characters when she leaves play. The problem is that this is a character you are wanting to get rid of and then you give your opponent 2 power when she does leave play. Also, she is now fighting with the LoW Catelyn Stark which is a tough battle to win. Jumping Cat is such a great card and the opportunity cost is lost with this new Catelyn. Seriously though, put down the d*ck, please.

Win on defense? Rare. Deck? Siege. Win on defense? Rarer. Prized 2? Big drawback.
Shagga says: Shagga show force, Shagga lift goats in each hand!
JCWamma - 2 out of 5
The effect is very interesting, and gaining a free military challenge is powerful. You won't often get the chance to trigger it in a Siege of Winterfell deck since very few would be stupid enough to attack you, but should you pull it off you will get a very, very powerful win-accelerant. That said, this is highly conditional, being limited to winning a military challenge as the defender, and I don't think it's necessarily worth prized 2.
mnBroncos - 3 out of 5
It gets a three from me because it does seem like a very solid card in siege deck. You may have enough strength to win those three challenges and prize isn’t bad when your deck is so fast as well.
Paladin - 2 out of 5
Siege decks may want to consider this. Outside of that, high cost for a very limited use effect.
scantrell24 - 3 out of 5
The potential to win three military challenges in a single phase is strong, but a lot of things have to go right for this event to work as planned.
Sygmaghost94 - 1 out of 5
This card gives me a headache. I can’t see a situation when you would use this. It’s not common to win a military challenge against a Stark player, so many people avoid those for the most part. This event has prized 2 and competes with other great Stark events like No Quarter. I just don’t see why you would run this card.

Burn? Burn. Burn! Sigh. Burn. King? Nice. Learned? Good. Burn? Burn.
Shagga says: Shagga not like fire, except for cooking goats. Dragonboy like fire too much.
JCWamma - 4 out of 5
A copy will go in every burn deck, of that there should be no doubt. I'm very glad he has no attachments, as it means you cannot stop him discarding himself on the Threat from the North round. That said, only being prized 1, being a 2 cost King who isn't troubled by the presence of other Kings, and with an effect that powerful? I could see this guy being trouble.
mnBroncos - 5 out of 5
I don’t want to say it is broken....but it may be. Only downside is that he gets rid of himself on a threat from the north turn, however, he is getting rid of all of your opponents two strength guys on a threat from the north turn, and 3 strength guys on a threat turn in a Dragon Keep deck...Pretty scary.
Paladin - 5 out of 5
Whoa, nice card. Powerful effect that synergizes well with burn and is still useful outside of it, and you get a learned crest and King trait to boot. And all for 2 gold!
scantrell24 - 5 out 5
As a Lannister player, the only proper way to review the card is with a string of expletives.
Sygmaghost94 - 4 out of 5
The king of burn has finally come! A constant -1 str to almost every character will not only make challenges harder to win, but also make it easier to burn your opponent’s characters. If this card is coupled with The Dragon Pit, you’re giving your opponent a constant -2 str! That’s crazy! And on a Threat from the North turn, you may end up losing Aegon, but you will wipe the board clean anyways. The 2 str monocon with 2 negative traits hurts this card, but not enough to make it anything less than great. The learned crest is just icing on the cake. Run this guy in a Targ Maester deck and suddenly your cards aren’t being hit by the -1 str.

JCWamma - 3 out of 5
Targaryen's been getting a lot of 3 cost, 3 STR tricons over the past few cycles. Lysono's ability is very nice, but the types of decks that care enough about it to run him would generally favour something like Aegon's Hill to find that information out. Just looking is cute but not amazing. Don't underestimate the solid stat-line though. The crest means little now, but between Lysono and Aegon, watch out for the future.
mnBroncos - 3 out of 5
Easiest card to give a 3 just a very solid card.
Paladin - 4 out of 5
3 for 3, with a learned crest and a neat ability. I could see throwing a singleton of this guy into a lot of Targ decks.
scantrell24 – 3 out of 5
Solid all-around but not inspiring. Good in Rusted Maesters maybe? Good in that janky deck that runs tons of attachments with Xaro’s Home, Port at Slaver’s Bay, Lady Dany’s Chambers and no real end-game besides playing attachments for the sake of playing attachments?
Sygmaghost94 - 4 out of 5
A 3 cost tricon with a negative trait? That seems to be the standard for Targ. But don’t get me wrong, I have no complaints with this guy. The 3 icons and 3 str are always welcome, but this guy offers something more. His nifty effect allows for consistent hand knowledge which is actually a good thing, believe it or not. The learned crest and awesome ability makes this card a great addition to Targ Maesters.

Greyjoy? Like! Stark? Okay? Kill? Kill! Naval? Nice. Prized 2? Deck? Not many. Tough.
Shagga says: Bow? BAH!
JCWamma - 4 out of 5
Incredibly strong, fully deserving of his Prized 2. Both houses can soak the downside of him (Greyjoy with saves, Stark with the likes of Shadows Arya and Ser Kyle Condon), and both can appreciate his aggro capabilities. Going first with this card is mean. Going first after you've revealed Wildfire Assault is so mean it's hilarious. Or, if you're feeling janky (I know I am!), going second and blanking Theon with Lady of the Leaves, Nightmares, etc., so it doesn't hit you, is delightfully weaselly.
mnBroncos - 4 out of 5
Just love how this guy works great and differently in each of the houses. Greyjoy can save and Stark can get rewards from killing own guys.
Paladin - 5 out of 5
This is great card design. A very good ability with a reasonable drawback. Decent cost for decent stats, and the prized is worth the ability. Both Stark and Greyjoy have save abilities to mitigate the self-inflicted harm, and both have the capacity to exploit the reduced numbers of their opponents. I expect Bear Island to make a resurgence--with your opponent killing a character at the beginning of the round, and you killing one at the end, the numbers game is going to get pretty grim for opposing players fairly fast.
scantrell24 – 4 out of 5
Theon kills Aeron and the Kindly Man for you. Combined with Aeron, he also creates save opportunities, and therefore draw opportunities, during the marshalling phase. Theon’s naval enhancement is easy to overlook, but it’s another strong reason to run Black Sails.
Sygmaghost94 - 4 out of 5
This has so many uses it’s crazy! This guy provides card advantage in a different way from the standard getting cards in hand, and that is huge for both Stark and Greyjoy. In either house, he will shine brilliantly. In Greyjoy, there are so many saves that the kill effect most likely won’t even hit you. In Stark, there are so many cheap characters and cards with Stalwart that you won’t care if you have to kill someone. Worst case scenario, you just end up killing Theon instead of someone else you really care about. The naval enhancement on the power icon is just icing on the cake. The only downsides to this card are the prized 2 and the negative trait (but even the trait isn’t that bad).

Neutral draw isn't as powerful as it once was thanks to Jaime, but he's still very good and will be well worth a copy in a lot of decks, prized 2 be damned. Most decks will use him for the response, but in a pinch a 3/3/bicon resource guy is reasonable too. The variety will be useful.
mnBroncos - 4 out of 5
Another amazing neutral that can fit into every deck, getting a gold or draw every turn is amazing, and no attachments is a positive keyword, prize is bad but I think this guy is greatly worth it.
Paladin - 5 out of 5
Hello card draw in every deck that needed it. Prized 2? Pfft, I’ll take my extra cards thank you. Oh yeah, and there’s a character with decent stats underneath it all.
scantrell24 – 3 out of 5
Tyhco is good but not great. You’ll have to wait a turn after marshalling him to trigger the draw and/or receive the gold. Prized 2 is a pretty big downside considering how fragile characters are right now. On the bright side, the Houses that lack draw - Greyjoy, Stark, Baratheon - also tend to lack intrigue icons, so he’s a boon for them on both accounts.
Sygmaghost94 - 3 out of 5
Yeah neutral draw is always good, except when it has prized 2, then it’s only kinda good. Unless you set this guy up, you’ll have to wait a turn before you benefit from either his gold or his effect. But he is a 3 str bicon in the meantime. Hmmm. Yeah he’s alright. A 3 out of 5 seems about right.

Effect? So-so. Stats? Good! Initiative? Huge! Melee? Yes.
Shagga says: Horse meat good!
JCWamma - 3 out of 5
How good this will be will depend a lot on how many enticing prized cards come out this cycle. Early indications are that there will be a fair few, and if so this will only get better. In the meantime the stats are very nice, although the opportunity cost of the plot only being conditionally nice means that it will likely only see play if prized becomes a big deal or if you really need to win initiative.
mnBroncos - 2 out of 5
A plot that will most likely get cut unless you need a high initiative plot.
Paladin - 2 out of 5
Way too situational and meta-dependent in joust, but potentially pretty decent in melee. Stats are nice, but there are a ton of other plots that are going to be better than this. Hey, maybe throw this in to a Defiance plot deck?
scantrell24 - 2 out of 5
Take Them by Surprise has better stats, so this probably won’t see any play until the current cycle wraps up, if at all. I can’t imagine running a plot that’s blank unless my opponent plays certain cards, although it does synergize nicely with the Defiance agenda, which allows for more “toolboxy†or “silver bullet†plots.
Sygmaghost94 - 3 out of 5
The 3 out of 5 is for the stats of this plot alone. The effect is pretty meh, but you may see some use out of it. The 4-10-1 is actually pretty decent and worth an average rating.

cards? Cards? CARDS. River? Fun. Rivers? Play. Good.
Shagga says: Shagga no swim, shagga no cross.
JCWamma - 5 out of 5
I have played four games since this card was spoiled, proxying it in. Through use of the Flood Waters event and other River plots to copy it, this plot has netted me a combined 56 cards across those four games. When it was initially spoiled I questioned just how much the card advantage would be offset by the fact that you're stuck having to play the other, subpar, River plots. You'd best believe it's a worthwhile trade-off. Prepare for the Rivers.
mnBroncos - 5 out of 5
This card alone will make river plots playable, that simple.
Paladin - 5 out of 5
At long last, River plots now have a huge enticement to fill your plot deck with them. This and Redwyne Straits form a very solid core to a river plot sequence.
scantrell24 – 4 out of 5
Combined with Shores of Ny Sar, River plots are now capable of generating quick card and easy card advantage. The cards won’t be a surprise because they’re ‘revealed’, but on the bright side they don’t count against the draw cap. The downside is similar to Cities in that you’re devoting a large part of your plot deck to Rivers, and the order is fairly predictable.
Sygmaghost94 - 4 out of 5
I think there’s a typo on this card. They gave it the River trait instead of the City trait. Wait, that’s not a typo? This is actually a River plot that makes it worth it to run River plots? What?! This card gives serious card advantage and can be used multiple times when combined with the other River plots and the event Flood Waters. The stats aren’t great, however, and you do have to commit a few plot spaces to those River plots to really get good mileage out of this. Other than that, this will definitely shake up the plot scene. I think we found the replacement for the City Plots.

The Prized from Conquest only matters when the cards leave play, so no interaction here.
Why are Lord and King considered negative traits?
I took that to mean his keywords.
Good catch, thanks. He's still better in Conquest though because you have access to another House worth of Prized cards to put in your deck and then stand.
"When a card with the prized keyword is killed or discarded from play" is the relevant text.
"Immune to Character Abilities"
Presumably they put that on there precisely because Coldhands exists. Also, House Umber Beserkers and Theon. A bit of a shame but she'd be too easy to break otherwise.
Unfortunately, cards only gain Prized via Conquest when they leave play, so by then its a bit late to stand them.
I also super excited about the new Doran. First, he's a Doran who can trigger a really underrated cancel (Doran's Game). Second, he's a Martell card that wants to win challenges instead of losing them. I'm very excited about how that could open up Martell deckbuilding and he's Nedly to boot.

As a martell player, I'm a happy man
Really? I think the spy is a good card - can't wait to use her in an icon manipulation deck. Reusable Burning on the Sand seems so nice. In other decks its still a very likely UO win in intrigue.
I would be torn between rating 3 or 4 out of 5 for it.
