Aaron: Dixit is quite good, it's one of my favourite games to buy/bring for families (kids and up). SU&SD recommends "Mysterium" as a "better" version, but I haven't had a chance to play.

Check out Randyll's Revenge on Thronesdb.com. It is a very solid Martell/Rose build here in the Seattle area that has been performing extremely well. It took 2nd and 3rd in a couple of 20+ player tournaments. Built by Jim H.

Finished the episode while cooking dinner last night. It was a fantastic one. Patrick makes a great co-host. I hope you have him on again and often.
But I have to disagree with both Will (on the cast) and James (above) and say that the best banner for everyone house is Lion. Lannister's non-loyal cards are so very above curve, the only competitor is Bara, that they provide so much flexibility to any house at the moment. The only prime-faction that really has a lot of flexibility in banners is Lannister itself. Here I think the Dragon works very well, particularly the White Book build.
Lanny Dragon apparently struggles more than most Lanny with NW. Who knew.
It's an interesting point. I think the problem with banner of the Lion is missing out on the in-faction synergies. This is related to an idea I want to privately pitch as subject matter for a future episode, so I'll say no more for now
Maybe I misheard, but on the cast you said if you put Crown of Gold on a 5 str character and had Danny, that character would just be useless with 0 str, but wouldn't that kill the character since the Crown of Gold kills them if the str is 0. Or does it not work like that?
No, what they meant was useless at 1str (since if it participated in any challenges against the player with Dany, it'd drop to 0 and die). Functionally the character has to sit out all challenges. On the bright side, it gets protected from Plaza of Punishment!

You gain options of Doran, Traders, Viper, Doran's Game, Ghaston Grey, Long Plan with Martell. Some of those aren't even good cards.
With Lanni you gain options of Tywin, Cersei, Pycelle, Lannisport, Casterly Rock, and on top of this it is much easier to trigger/include Treachery and TTIDFL. All of these are good cards.
And the cards in the next pack don't change this any, with Lanni gaining their plot and Martell cards both being non loyal.
I feel like as a Martell player I am still waiting for more good loyal cards for them.
