From my understanding of various card games, the meta differences between the EU and the USA is quite large. Speaking with guys from the US I learned that you guys are generally more aggresive in your playstyle whereas Europeans are more control inclined and we try and run very toolboxy kind of decks. It can make for some interesting match ups.

Good podcast by the way, always nice to hear someone repping the Sheffield playgroup. Thanks Nate. (The real one). ;)

Maybe next time you can join us as well ?
I don't see why not. Not sure if I have anything important to say in the grand scheme of things but what the hell...

Ill have to dust off the old mic and see if it still works.

Great interview. Nice to hear about other decks the the American standards.

One thing I'm still wondering about though are the copies of A Dark Time for the Rebellion in the Sith deck. Wanna know why. I'm a fan of the pod but I can't really see how it fits into that deck.
The pod gave us a stupid good objective, another big unit, 2x 2 drops and a versatile event. The enhancement was ok but mainly edge bait

Ok, so just generally good - nothing especially synergistic? :) Thanks
It wasn't that it had great synergy just that the objective was too good to pass up land the set it brought with it was solid enough to warrant playing two of them

The issue of course is that in a tournament environment the Sith player cannot just sit back and defend, they need to be able to bust a few objectives at the very least for the purposes of tie breakers and the like. Dark Time offers a hell of a lot of bite for a decent cost. The only card in the set that I dislike is The Moorsh Moraine but even my playgroup would disagree with me.

Ah, of course - haven't gotten into the tournament mind set yet.
