I don't agree on Brood Chamber. Many opponents will use ranged cards or AE. If you have initiative then you can take out their ranged first. If you use the synapse creature for battles at a planet, you can pretty much guarantee you will hit something.

It is also good anti flyer tech, as you can give the flying keyword to not half your damage. I think it will seriously mess up combat maths.

Only thing I don't like is the printed qualifier, so it doesn't work on Aun'shi, and the timing means mobile isn't hit either.
