So very sorry to hear about your friend, Will. A certain Greyjoy proverb comes to mind, but I'll let you decide whether it's appropriate in this instance. My condolences to you and to his family.
Same here Will. Props to you, Ser, for remembering him publicly.
why does this take so long to update on my podcast app.

On Battle for the shield islands, on the ffg boards Ktom did post a ruling that you do have to have the correct icon type. It was linked from Quill and Tankard - http://www.fantasyfl...=4&efidt=791377
And note that you can declare attackers/defenders while knelt that have an enhancement and have the correct icon, but don't have an enhancement on that icon.

Awesome, that's what I figured. Glad the rules to this game are starting to make sense :P

A stubborn man.
Love how they said "we're just going with straight letter grades, no plus or minus"....and then immediately start issuing pluses and minuses. It's fine though, I don't think it adds value to stick to less specific categories.
Hmm... I might have misspoken, but I really did intend to keep doing +/-. And I know that Brett told me he was sticking with +/-.

@VonWibble- Aha! I knew I'd seen that around somewhere. Thanks for the assist on that.
Well vonWibble was faster, but I still want to point out that our last article was about epic battles and more specific on the new one. There are some strange things going with them that players should know like no action windows before/after of each challenge.

I have already seen some interesting concepts with Vhagar (the Targ ship) that has had me so annoyed that I used my city besieged on it so there is something for the card, but I think you rated it well, even when it gets working it is really specific decktype.

My condolences Will.

Edit: When you all talk about The Reader you say you have to have someone in the challenge before you can naval someone in. I don't believe that is correct. It works like that for offense, sure, but I believe that if he happens to be the only intrigue character when Greyjoy is being attacked by a stealthy intrigue challenge he could naval himself in to defend and so keep the opponent from scoring a point of power.
So the defender can kneel a naval defender as a player action after attackers are declared and before stealth is used?
Yep.

My condolences Will.

Good point. I was specifically thinking about offense and did not take the defensive use into account. My bad.
