The Greyjoy Black Sails deck that Alex took to the Top 4 (and Jon took to top 16) was running Fury as the restricted for To Be A Kraken, not Asha. Losing it is a hit, but I'm pretty sure that they'll keep Manning and still work reasonably well.

Do you think it would keep the To Be a Krakens then and just sub in something like Battle of Oxcross or Seige of Riverrun or just drop To Be a Kraken?

I think in the new meta with unrestricted Pentoshi and whatnot, TBAK is probably even better now than it was before. I'm not an expert (hopefully istaril, darknoj or another seasoned Greyjoy BS player can weigh in), but I'm guessing it's probably worth running another military battle in place. I'm not a fan of Battle of Oxcross, but it would probably win out just for having four gold.

Things you could do with the old event ruling where they actually were on the table until step 6 of the action window.
Kneel maester to play citadel politics, trigger Copper Link in same window while the event is still in play and in moribund to give it raven trait, trigger samwell since you played a raven card.
Or give it reinforcement trait and trigger Men with no Kings.
Since they are no longer in play you cannot interact with them anymore.

Val - Self mill was trying to use her to get rid of their deck in one turn assuming that if the card could not be drawn it would be discarded.

Hmmm... I wonder if I can find a place down here that serves moose. Maybe a mooseburger? Or perhaps I can find some in Minnesota when we're up there in a few weeks/

Fury was key for us vs decks like rusted maesters and sieg. If Manning was restricted at worlds i would guess that Alex and I would have ended up playing a very different GJ deck, if we chose GJ at all.

Yes - it's extremely valuable information, and valuable to inform your mulligan decision. That said, keep in mind you're not shuffling your hold back into your deck.
