Idea for the new segment title: "What we've been playing".

The picture is Harrenhal, incidentally. It's in the 4th pack, and with that art, so it'd be a mighty coincidence if it wasn't...

I thought exactly the same thing about DWDW and the Professor.
Nedlyl stuff: Some of Catelyn's criticism of the Knights of Summer playing at war? Something about either Joffrey's Crossbow or Tommen's Kittens (the toys they're playing with?).

I think "Event Bob" can't recur events in a DWDW deck, but the wording is tricky because he says to play the event "as if it were in your hand". Good episode though.
@JCWamma- Wow, how'd I miss that spoiler? Harrenhal looks pretty sweet. Canceling any three triggered effects that you like is pretty darn powerful, even at the loss of a character. Lannister sure doesn't mind killing Doubting Septas and Cersei's Attendants, for instance. What about Stark? Could Harrrenhal help improve Stalwart?

@BuzzawMF- Yes! Does anyone know if Corey's been playing Netrunner lately?

@Istaril- Haha, Tommen's Kittens is a great start.

@Scantrell- Hmmm.... Boy that is a tough one that FFG will probably have to clarify.

I'm not much of a drunk dialer, but I will totally pay for people to do that to Darryl.

I just realized how well suited Harrenhall is to Bloodthirst.
So how come Darryl and Kyle never post responses here?
It's more of an anti-Bloodthirst card, really.

@Traitor- That's a good question. I'll see if I can get them to be a bit more active here.
Given that Darryl is now reading, why isn't he reading Thrones?

I'd be interested in seeing Darryl's Stark deck he was talking about with the shadows and stuff. I've tried a bunch of Shadows and Winter stuff w/Stark over the years and most of the decks suck (the usual resource problem mostly). One of them was even a "burn" one that was really fun to play, but tier 3 at best...
Thrones is on my to do list. I need to make sure I can reader shorter novels before jumping into thrones.

I will post the list here later today.

I'm looking forward to seeing it.
I was sad that there wasn't a return of mouth-trumpeting. Darryl opens an episode by doing the entire theme song and I'll send the show 5 bucks. Pure profit. Or if he reminds everyone that Dusty Cox cheated him with Paper Shield once. Because that never stops being funny in my meta.

Thanks for posting. "Freezing Rain" is something I've always wanted to play around with. I have this crappy (but fun...) Stark Defense deck that utilizes Feigned Retreat and lots of influence, so maybe I'll play around w/Freezing Rain and see how it goes...

I'd also be interested in the Greyjoy mill deck.
Thanks for posting that deck. Why 1 Searoad instead of something like Street of Steel?
the "Danger Zone' snuck up on me this week..... well done sirs....well done !

It does seems pretty random but I wanted a fourth limited 0 cost +1 gold location. really thats it. I don't really like the reducers that much. Gold is more versatile and with all the favorable ground and newly made lords it just made sense. I have a terrible fear of running into income late game when I don't need it so I ride the line between not enough income and inefficient income since I don't run the neutral reducers. kingdom of shadows might be a better play I'm still experimenting with it.
Really enjoyed this episode guys. The What Deck Are You Playing (too lazy to suggest a name) segment is a lot of fun--and it kinda hits the spot for a player who wants to hear about deck construction.

Another segment idea: Weird decks. In my chess days I loved reading Unorthodox Chess Openings, which talked about unconventional (sometimes impractical) but intriguing deckbuilds. I'd be interested in hearing about unconventional deck builds [i.e. characterless decks].
Hey guys.
Another great episode but did Kyle randomly dissapear? Seemed odd. The new segment is AWESOME! Exactly what you guys needed. It actually showcases more casual play which is greatly needed in the AGOT podcast scene. Too much focus on competition and not enough focus on why we play this game... for fun!!!!

Suggestions for titles: The Small Council, The Painted Table, Battle Ground, Battle Plans

Regarding R + L = J and Bastardy:

From http://awoiaf.westeros.org:

If both parents of a bastard are noble then the child is not considered "baseborn."

So I believe that Jon Snow would not be a bastard if his parents are actually Rhaegar and Lyanna.
