Also, please bear with us this episode. Recording over Skype was particularly contrary this week. I've cleaned it up some, but didn't have as much time this week to perfect it as I might have liked.

Have to agree that Lanni and soft control are still looking fine. At Stoke last week I went into the regional expecting to face a lot of aggro and hence took a control deck, and even though I didn't make the cut I think one thing that helped me to win the games I did was that my deck matched up quite well to the aggro type decks.

Also have to agree with the prop to the prize support - that Mel card is one of the best art pieces I have seen (for me Alexander Dainche is up there with the best of the card artists) and being able to win power tokens without having to make the cut was a nice and unexpected bonus.
Great episode. While listening several possible Shagga combos came to mind. While you were discussing how you come up with a combo idea, I noticed that is usually how I come up with deck Ideas. I see something shiny and cant stop thinking about it. Maybe that's why I cant build a Jaime deck to save my life... By the way the Campfire Mime, Raven trick blew my mind, all the times I thought about ways to abuse the mime that one never once crossed my mind...
Also, the spoiler image is up!
Great episode guys, sweet new preview GJ card, interesting guests, topical content; well done !!
But I did miss Darryl
Also you guys should do a "Danger Zone montage" cause that would be epic!..might be the hockey playoff beer talking but that idea sounds awesome sauce !!

Not finished listening to the episode yet, but so far my favourite part is Tagore saying his meta doesn't play combo in a podcast going out on the Friday when I took a HoD Highgarden deck to the top 4 of a regional, beating him in the top 8, on the Saturday. And my least-favourite part is Tagore taking credit for my Carrion Bird/Campfire Mime/Samwell combo :P. Although in his defense he genuinely forgot I told him about it, so I guess I'll forgive him this time...

Been really enjoying the discussion so far, it's set a lot of thoughts buzzing around inside my head. Once I've finished listening to the episode (most likely tomorrow) I may well have to PM Kennon with some thoughts for an article...
Your Hod Highgarden deck is just a dreadful matchup for GJ Black sails. Kneel out my navals = Good Game.
*whew*

I was beginning to think that allowing Tom on this episode scared off all the commentators.
Just started watching Archer making the Danger Zone thing even more hilarious.
I thought is was a top gun thing but this is amazing.

Now I want a danger zone montage even more !!!!!
