As for the Targaryen KotHH versus Greyjoy Maesters. From the results of Stahleck I would have to hand the win more to GJ direction as there were plenty of both that made the cut. The Greyjoy ones clearly were doing better. In the end I think there were 7 GJ Maesters, but I cannot clearly remember the Targ number, I only know that I personally went trough 2 Targ KotHH decks that were similar of Brunos while I was deck checking the top32 as a judge in the event. Greyjoy maesters isn't as weak to KotHH as other GJ builds would be since they had adapted by having 3x apprentice collars in their decks and most of the top decks also were using 3x citadel law for plot rotation in case of first snow.

Edit: 7 Gj maesters 4 Targ KotHH in the top (there were 18 Targ kotHH in total and 8 Gj Maesters)
I've been playing around with GJ Maesters some lately and the plot manipulation is quite a blast. There's so much that can be done, from forcing someone out of a plot like First Snow, to rotating your City plots for greater effect, to saving a Maester and then rotating so that you're not stuck on Valar's 2 gold and no claim.
I think Greyjoy vulnerability vs burn is actually overrated a tad. Yeah, the saves don't work in that instance, but they still work for claim. I've also not seen save-heavy builds recently anyway.

I think Greyjoy is tough as a matchup for Targ because of the location destruction. Taking out the KR Fiefdoms can be brutal.
Hi all!

Great podcast! Just wanted to say that here in Spain we already got the new chapter pack so it is expected to be released in NA later this week (for some strange reason). The chapter is amazing and already building my black sails greyjoy raider deck :)

Special mention to the new areo hotah (vengeful, if losing a challenge discard 5 cards to kill a character participating) which was surprising, and the lannister fleet who can enter in intrigue with lethal, making it a blast for PBTT decks!
Glad to hear that you enjoyed this week's show. We're excited to finally be getting some more cards to discuss. We're looking forward to reviewing the new pack, hopefully in episode 99.
