Excellent ending.
Something weird happens to the audio, as the two channels fall out of sync in the Tyrell cards. Still, very good episode; Tony should come on more often. He did a surprisingly good job of being funny and not taking things seriously, while still being the one to touch on some of the depth (e.g. Brothel Madam's rules interaction, why people don't like challenge denial).
Kennel Master: That's not a cigarette (seriously, cardgamedb censors ***. Sigh), he's definitely just breathing in the cold air.
Royal Entourage: How is THAT a ***?
Tony... what are you smoking?
Dave: I agree, the loyal plots do look very nice.
That said, I think you're overselling Wardens. It's great, but you're overselling the 5 gold (when saying that even blank its decent); you weren't playing Rebuilding or Taxation, and they have better statlines.
Dave: Yeah, MIrri and Rakharo work together.
Cheers Alex, much appreciated. I didn't think the Entourage had a cigarette - it's just i was squinting equally as hard at a tiny laptop screen as I was at the Kennel Master to see what was in the background and...
You know what, never mind. Banter. Or something. Right?
Very fair description of our games apart from on 1 point - I'm from Tamworth, not Stoke. I'm sort of an honorary member of their meta as otherwise its a meta of 1. In terms of distance Sheffield or Northampton are about the same as Stoke to me.
Almost definitely overselling Wardens, I think Tony just us riled up but as VonWibble has pointed out, its not hit by Naval. I think the ability is better (at least more reliable) that the other two as well.
Audio issues were sorted as we best could - Peel must have missed that part
Sorry Stefan! Its not the first time I'll make that mistake and it won't be the last! I've added in a link to your report which I forgot last time.
Wardens is a pretty solid plot on raw stats, so much so that if something goes wrong and you cannot trigger its ability you shouldn't be too far behind.
Couldn't continue listening after the guy said "**** the Night's Watch."
