Banter Behind the Throne - Life Begins at Episode 40

Istaril posting this on behalf of Craven, because of permissions and things.

Dave is away for a few days so me and Peel conducted a number of dark rituals and summoned Jack from the abyss to help us out. Unfortunately, Jack being in our realm caused some kind of audio dissonance and part of the episode got lost in editing. This has absolutely nothing to do with us giving 'Winterfell Crypts' a really low rating.

We talk about Calm Over Westeros, the news about intentional draws and then discuss some things you might want to consider if your meta is over run with Lannister players. We then totally mess up a sign off.

Enjoy!

Shame you guys lost the middle part of this episode, there were a few cards in the cropped section that I was really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on!

You guys totally underrated Red Vengeance.

We absolutely trashed Winterfell Crypt, however these words have been lost to time and corruption and therefore cannot be held against us.

I coined a nickname for Blood Magic Ritual as Hot Blood Time Machine which I am deeply saddened never went to air.

Ha, apparently I'd paused it about two minutes from the end of the cast. I'm not livid at you guys saying to play Lannister, because firstly you listed a bunch of good counters, then secondly you prefaced it by saying "if you really can't beat Lanni no matter what you do". My objection is to people just jumping on the Lanni train because they think it's the only way to win a regional.

I got a genuine draw in my first tournament, and have come close in later ones, but it doesn't seem very common.
