In this week's episode, Istaril and Darknoj address listener feedback and talk about some FFG news. They then discuss online play, its pros and cons, and interview the man responsible for the AGOT OCTGN Module: Hedjman. The first "Town Crier" has Doug from Chicago promoting his local store championship.

hey, just heard the podcast. Thanks for having me on and for making me sound better than I actually did. Loving the work your doing, keep it up
quick note to make sure credit where it is due. the description above makes it sound like hank wrote the agot octgn game script from scratch himself. that credit should go to gualdo, i then updated it a touch, then hank took over. gualdo should at least get some mention though because the bulk of the work was his (obviously we all know slighting him wasnt your intent, just wanted to clarify).

Quick note ... listen to the goddamn podcast before saying something.
quick note, i wasnt criticizing the content of the cast, i was criticizing the description, captain butthurt.
I have to agree with Dennis. It should say something like: "the man currently responsible for the..." or something like that. That way it at least acknowledges that someone did it before Hank.

I listened to the cast, and you guys clearly recognized Gualdo in it. So, there's no issue there.

Also, I'm not sure Hedjman should go out of his way to talk to FFG employees about OCTGN. What if he asks and they say: SHUT IT DOWN! I would be sad then.
While I don't have editing permission for this article, I've updated the podcast description to say "currently responsible", to avoid any ambiguity.

Please take the time to let us know if the changes we've made to audio (the music bridges, the pitch change, and the associated loss of sound quality) are to your liking. Is it better or worse this way?

Edit: Apparently I just followed sWhiteboy's suggestion before he even posted it. Great minds, and all that?
Buy him a distillery!

I actually had trouble telling when it was Darknoj speaking and when Hedjman was speaking. Haha.
I'm new to game of thrones and was wondering if agot octgn is available for mac?
Pinky, unfortunately it's not - probably its biggest shortcomming. Your choices are somewhat limited, in my experience, to one of the following:
1) Run Windows in Parallels (Works, but can be taxing on the system in my experience)
2) Install windows on a bootcamp partition (Probably the easiest, though a bit of a pain to reboot to your windows partition regularly)
3) Have a windows machine/laptop, and either play from it or connect to it from your mac/tablet using some form of remote desktop.
Ah, you missed a little bit of history, actually. Raven, a custom built bit of software from an old CCG player who went by the moniker of Tam was the first online way to play AGOT.

Also, damn. Hedjman reminded me that I need to get that rules PDF finished up for him.
On the sound, Jon's voice sounds noticeably altered from the pitch shift. A little bit of the Christian Bale Batman thing going. Maybe there's a middle ground between the first and second ep levels?
I would like to hear you guys build decks. I enjoyed 2C1C when Tiny & Darknoj built their summer burn deck to face off against the 2C1C guys.

Old Archetypes, New Archetypes, Listener requests.
Well, given that Jon and I have spent three of the last three days building store championship decks, we might well be able to do that! Haven't thought to record our skype sessions...

Grambo: I'm going to try splitting the stereo tracks and applying the pitch modifier only to mine, but it may be slightly inconsistent depending on whose recording we use (and how high/low pitched our guests are).
I think Alex and i will build a deck for the Montreal tournament tomorrow tonight and record it. ;)
