Istaril Darknoj Beyond the Wall Podcast Tyler Jacob K. The Valemen AGOT
Click here for the podcast. As we alluded to last week, this week is our CP3 review. First we go into some news, including some oddities with the new FFG site (which FAQ are we in, anyway?), and then we bring in Tulsa's Jacob K. to review "The Valemen". In our Town Crier segment, floridian Tyler T. tells us about this weekend's state championships, and we close off the episode promoting a few SCs, as well as briefly assessing the state of the game at this midpoint in the Wardens cycle. We do run a little long, as fitting CP reviews in a regular format episode is still new for us, but hopefully you'll enjoy the extra 5 minutes!

Crucible: The Florida State Championships.
Erratum:
James's Stark Defence deck wasn't a Tully deck, and included only 6 tullies.

The unfortunate was for LiW not winning. Then we might have a better name than "Fruity Pebbles".
Point of order, my deck wasn't a Tully deck, it had 6 Tullys total. And the deck was how to do defence properly, it was my piloting that sucked
.
I am interested in this defense Stark! I've been thinking about it all my whiles, looking forward to hearing more about it from the pro's someday!
Erratum added to the article. My apologies for implying your deck was bad, I should have blamed the pilot and not the builder
I revealed my secret tech for Crucible but Alex edited it out. I tried to get everyone else a fighting chance but now they won't know what hit'em!
Thanks for the plug for the Lebaon, IN event. It will be some big time minor league cool
I am hoping to see a lot of new decks with the helpers from this new pack and the faq. WIll try to get a report for the annals.
Also I just wanted to add that after the offcial SC there is a good chance if enough people hang around afterwords and it isn't too late, we will have a Thrones Cube Draft event that will be free and no one needs to bring anything. I will provide all the cards!
Any chance you'd be willing to post your cube list to the forum? I've been looking for one as I figure that is the best long term plan for my V1 collection. Thanks.
absolutely. its been fluctuacting with each chapter pack, but I can probably get it up sometime soon. With only 3 packs left it is pretty close to what its final incarnation will be.
Thanks for episode (which I get to hear not until today).
Agree on nearly all cards you reviewed. While you argue for Blackfish Vanguard, I actually like the the Blackwood Elite better, as it cost only nearly half with better stats, and a drawback which actually should never matter (or you are doing something wrong).
I think Stark Defense is a viable build right now (at least I won a small SC with it, even against an aggressive Stark Siege deck with underrated Vyman as my only Tully character), but I don't quite know if Tully is. Yes, you can wield a lot of expensive armies which you might never get to play without AaA or Army-Robb, and Intrigue and resets are still the biggest threats to them. Right now, it seems like Tully are more like the rush version out of Stark.
