Fire and Blood - Out of House Attachments

Small Council Fire and Blood PulseGlazer
Targaryen is the best house in A Game of Thrones for playing attachments out of house. They have two in house ways to avoid the out of house gold penalty with the Port at Slaver's Bay (ATotT) and Ser Raymun Darry (TBG), along with the Alliance plot and being the best Maester house and thus a good target for the Pale Steel Link and Bronze Link they have many ways to really make use of any attachment they want in the game. Let’s take a look at which out of House attachments would be best for the House of Dragons.Baratheon
5. Martial Law (BoRF) - This is really certainly a different deck type, but an extra two power a turn goes a very long way in things like Dragon Rush, or, if anyone is insane enough to try it, Heir to the Iron Throne.
4. Shadow's Blessing (Core) - 2 Strength on anyone without a power icon? Yes, please. Worst case, the opponent runs a lot of power icons and you just boost your own character.
3. Stinking Drunk (Core) - This pretty much guarantees your opponent’s character be burned to death or used for claim.
2. Hunting Spear (BoRF) - Care to risk -2 on all of your characters against Targaryen? Well, if I have even two influence standing, I can then get rid of every single character you’re playing with a single Field of Fire.
1. Motley (Core) - This can just shut down an opponent, especially when they didn’t know to save gold.
Greyjoy
5. Veteran Marauder (KotS) - Stealth then blanking of a key location? Yes please.
4. Cowed (THoBaW) - This, too, will help get challenges through. For extra fun, add Desolate Passage.
3. Scaling Ladder (TBG) - This not only chokes, but kills a ton of powerful effects. I’m surprised it hasn’t seen an uptick already with Pentoshi Manors everywhere.
2. Fishing Net (ASoS) - The weapon keyword gives this an extra bonus, as this is a great way to pretty much force opponents to make a character claim.
1. Horn of Dragons (ASoSilence) - Targaryen, if we decide to go Maesters, has the best trait manipulation in the game. It would be very, very simple to steal a card every single turn with this.
Lannister
5. Head of a Dwarf (RoW) - Add to Greyscale. Hilarity ensues.
4. Pyromancer's Cache (TWot5K) - Number 1 if not restricted, this deck will need card draw and this alone is great card draw.
3. Enslaved (THoBaW) - This is a great way to ensure that you get good cards for your claim and use their cards for mediocre claim.
2. Devious Intentions (BoRF) - Because Berric is secretly best out of Targaryen.
1. Widow's Wail (LotR) - Because Berric is secretly broken out of Targaryen with this.
Martell
5. The Broken Spear (SaS) - Getting rid of a military icon on a trouble character, or, better, giving one to a Dragon Daenerys could win a game.
4. Thirst-for-Vengeance (VM) - Deadly has become underrated. This is a power grabber or a card advantage grabber... or both.
3. War Scorpion (BoRF) - This is broken with Berric, but great either way. War Scorpion on a character stolen is especially fun.
2. Snakeskin Veil (CbtC) - This is here for the Rhaegar’s Harp combination with Berric.
1. Taste for Blood (PotS) - Once two of these are out, opponents stop trying to win challenges. This is a top attachment in the game.
Stark
5. Campfire Lights (CtB) - A great way to get Darry into your hand.
4. Imposter! (MotM) - Because I’m sure there’s a cool combination I’m missing.
3. The Long Winter (ACoS) - If we decide to do season changing shenanigans, -1 strength all game is incredible out of Targaryen.
2. Freezing Rain (FtC) - A more expensive, movable Frozen Solid? Yes please.
1. Dubious Loyalties (IG) - When this can be jumped in, the free extra character is great.
Neutral
5. Bodyguard (Core) - If you have a guy loaded up with attachments, save him.
4. Flaming Sword (DB) - Hi, Berric!
3. Milk of the Poppy (Core) - Bye Berric!
2. Demon's Dance (ACoS) - Repeatable murder.
1. Black Raven (ASoS) and White Raven (TWoW) - A shocking amount of attachments need summer or winter, so take advantage.
Next time - The Berric Targaryen deck.

Also, great article man! It's good to see someone delving into the janky side of Targ. I had a OOH attachment deck running out of kothh, but it didn't really work - I wish you greater success than I had
I'm pretty sure Imposter states that each card can only count once for it's effect so that muli-house characters can't boost more than +1 str.
Edit: Looked it up and i am dead wrong. Man my memory is just horrid lately.
Shut up. Roar.
In a game I once blanked a GTM before plots were revealed, a Street of Silk during marshalling, then the Iron Throne during challenges, Lannisport Brothel during dominance, then pre-plot, I moved Freezing Rain back to the GTM. Needless to say my opponent was not a happy camper.
Man! I also LOVE Poisoned Coin (THoBaW) in a Stark maester deck with Pale Steel Link (FtC) & Bronze Link (FtC). I know we are talking Targ here but still...
Thanks for a great countdown list. This gives me inspiration!
With ambush, the reduced gold income from winter isn't as inhibiting. And then The Long Winter and The Wings of Winter for strength reduction, plus standard burn on top, it could do well.
Add on Burned & Pillaged to really kick them in the balls
you can use it in a Blue-Lipped Warlock (QoD) so he won't kneel to atack, and Shade of the Evening (QoD) will make it perfect
