Hey, guys! Another great cast! It was nice having the whole crew back. Not to discount Will's solo efforts, which were great.
On the subject of Casterly Rock, the price is right, the effect can be devastating early game, and it fits the Lannister feel. I agree that it sucks to draw late game when you are looking for more dudes, which is why I will only run one in the current card pool. My grade is definitely a B with the possibility of easily becoming an A. When it comes to Lannisport, I think Draw is always at least a B, and I don't see this card going much higher than that if they continue to dish out characters with Insight.
See ya next week!
I did turn the bitrate down a notch to save a little bit of hosting space, so that might be part of the audio. During recording we had a little issue as well though, so it might be worth trying out Hangouts for recording again instead of Skype. In general, it seemed smoother audio in the few times that I've used it in the past.
That one guy:
"Blah blah blah VALAR... Blah blah Valar... balah blah but Valar Valar... blah"
Casterly Rock is great. A-. You get to do another challenge. Also, it combos well with Tyrion and Lannisport. Worst case you kneel out an opponent's character.
I wonder why he was blathering on about valar. I mean, it is not like having a true reset in the environment would strengthen the game in many ways and shake up strategies.
To be fair to Aaron, he never talks about Valar, he talks about Va-larrrrrr.
Oh boy, does he!
What's good in a meta pre Valar and what's good post Valar are not necessarily the same. As such, it matters when we look at how cards are going to age.
Yeah, really hard time hearing Aaron.
