Oh man, Trial by Combat. Also, I stand by Bronn being bad at the top level of play.

Not available on iTunes yet :(

Just purged caches, so hopefully it shows up shortly.

I think Bronn will be risky but fun.

Trial By Combat is the bomb. I LOVE playing Lannister Fealty and this event is going to make Fealty incredibly competitive.
I'm glad Trial by Combat is loyal, Stark Lion would have been way too good otherwise, with Winter is Coming followed by this with Cersei challenging to potentially kill 4 opposing characters (on a claim 1 turn!).

Seriously underrating Bronn. Just buy him back! As Lanni, you should have plenty of gold in marshalling, and can then use Brothel Madame, Paid off, Tyrion, to fund your own challenge events.

Lannister fealty/LotC are already two of the best (if not the best) decks in the meta.

Trial by combat is... Expensive, but Lannister don't really care about that. I think it will be money in the jumper deck which is already extremely efficient (can you imagine bouncing a character, and killing another with an intrigue challenge, then going in for military?) although this Lannister deck is getting a little tight on event slots perhaps. On a two claim plot with cersei out this makes me ill, military claim of 5 from lannisters two strongest icons? Wow.

Bronn is good. Lannister often go into the third of fourth round with piles of gold spare so you aren't gonna lose him.

Dragon Sight does help you win challenges.

To give an example, suppose you do a challenge with a STR 3 (non dragon) character. They defend with 2 STR 2 characters.

Without Dragon Sight, you lose 3:4

With it played, you win 2:2

this is true. However - The meta with first snow has shifted away from the 2-3 cost 2-3 strength characters (apart from in Targ really, because synergy (and dracarys)) and Dragon Sight is expensive to bring 1 character into dracarys range (in cards and gold)

I like trial by combat a lot !

I love the ability to play it defensively to save your hand if need be. I think that will be more relevant than people think !

Oh and crushing your opponents board using it the straight forward way will not suck either !

So what, you only play 4+ cost characters now?

I only play Targ, so no ;) but i've shifted the curve up and eliminated as many sub-4 cost characters as possible and run many dupes of all dragons with fire and blood.

Given Aaron loves talking about when Valar arrives, I can't believe he didn't bring it up for the two excellent answers to it in this box. Healing Expertise + Here to Serve make for a plot that reads "save any character from Valar". Fallen From Favour becomes an amazingly-statted plot with no downside. What gives??
