Hey guys, I guess I interpreted the news about the Battle of the Trident tournaments a little differently. The article says the events will last "until there is no more than one undefeated player" so couldn't you just run normal swiss rounds (without a cut), rather than single elimination? Most of these events will likely not be very large since they are supposed to all overlap on the same weekend, making a straight swiss event fairly feasible. That was how I was planning on running this event here in Toledo, OH, anyway. Hopefully FFG will give us some more info soon. I am with Will and am pretty excited about this sort of thing.
Yeah, that is correct. Just wanted to clarify what you guys meant. You can't win the tournament, but you don't necessarily have to go home!
So I have a bunch of throners coming into town this week. Guess I'm bringing this to Greg's on Friday. Will update later this week on how my games go. Thanks for the suggestion. I guess asking for plots was too much though huh?!?
Sounds good.
