A King in the North - Going on a Long Voyage

The Big Agenda™ that everyone is talking about right now is the Long Voyage- sweeping through multiple regionals in the US, Europe, and Australia. It is being played out of every house, and has won regionals with every house – except Stark (as far as I know). Yet Stark is probably the most natural house for running TLV...

Hey guys, did you hear? House Martell sucks now! We have too much restricted and the format’s too fast. Our best bet is to net-deck and hope for the best, but we have no shot against Greyjoy TLV or any burn. Heck, until the new FAQ, we might as well just play other houses.

Hello again, intrepid readers! This week, All Things Shagga delves into a reader submitted deck, this time by Reldan. For those of you who regularly read the column, you may have already seen some hints about this deck in the comment thread of the Song of the Sea review article. Truth be told, Reldan actually mentioned that he has a couple versions of the deck worked up- one with a more Jaime slant and one with a more Shagga slant. Of course, being who we are, we’re going to take a look at the more Shagga version. Let’s see what we’ve got.

It's time! Another installment of Fire and Blood! Having not played anything truly competitive since regional season died down, i thought that I might take a step back from championship level builds and efficiency and talk about one of my favorite aspects of the Thrones metagame and the type of gameplay that truly hooked me as a fan upon my entrance into the game. I am, of course, talking about MELEE!

Thank you for taking time to read another Beheading Ned as I continue down the path of building a deck centered around one of the original kings in the War of Five Kings. This time looking at the king that everyone loves to hate, Joffrey Baratheon. Joffrey Baratheon, first of his name, Lord of the Seven Kingdom, gained the throne after his father Robert Baratheon died, and since that time showed how power in the wrong hands can be a very bad thing.
