Click here for the podcast.Doing something different again, on several fronts. First, we (too) had a number of technical issues with our recording. If our recording with ktom sounds a little wooden, it's because we were working around a 10s skype lag, and if our others have the sound balance a little off, it's because we're experimenting with new software to get around said skype lag. Content wise, we start off with a news roundup, and then are joined by Ingrid for a recap of the weekend's Batalla por el Muro tournament. Then, in the wake of the increase in custom swag at tournaments (a great thing), we consult with our community's resident lawyer, ktom, to make sure we don't overstep our bounds and can continue to foster this amazing creativity. We squeeze in a tip of the week we thought had been lost to our hard drives, and wrap up with closing comments, where Darknoj makes some ambitious claims.

Have you guys tried to use the discord server for recording?
Unfortunately, there aren't very good ways to record over discord (except having each person record locally, which is a fair bit to ask our guests). Our alternate solution, used in all the segments except ktom and tip of the week this week, will take a little adjusting to, but seems to have worked quite well; zencastr.

I loved this episode, for two reasons:
1) Ingrid makes me want to goto Batalla even harder, making the international community sound even better.
2) The promotional / copyright issue is obviously close to my heart, and it's nice to hear KTom's opinion on it. Despite Jon's expectations, I listened in rapt attention. 10/10, I appreciated the rapid-fire legal jargon.
I really enjoy the legal and historical discussions. Keep them up.
