For those of you who haven't listened yet, this episode breaks down second edition deck building so far into 3 deck categories:  1. Reducer in Deck, 2. Plot Gold, and 3. Mini-Curve, along with combinations of each.  Once everyone has listened, we'd love to hear what you think of these archetypes, whether their accurate, how each is effective, and so on.

I've also promised to post examples of each, so in a few minutes, expect a link to an example of a reducer in deck-style deck, GJ to Baratheon and pretty regularly thereafter links to the other major deck types.

30 minutes in, had to pause and swap some plots in my decks. Really interesting so far.

Unless I've missed it somewhere, what would be super helpful would be some sort of chapter timings summary.  Like "10:20 We talk about X, 21.15 We talk about Y".

Particularly if you're spitting out a 90 minute show!

Think that first link is just back to the podcast...

MagicDave - that's a will comment I'll pass along, and the link will be updated before morning.

@MagicDave, That's something that I had started out trying to tag into the episode as chapter marks when we rebooted with the new name, but I got complaints from a few people that it was causing issues with some of their players. I may go back to doing it but just mention them in the show notes.

The podcast was really great. Good  job all!

As a follow up to my previews comment, i changed Calm over Westeros to Marched and Counting Coppers to Summons. In the context of my deck, it's really nice. Thanks for the insight.

Reducer deck updated... here's a Minicurve (it won a Tulsa game night last week, but is still in the experimental, constantly tweaked phase):

Ooo, it has Marching Orders. I have been playing around with that plot, building experimental decks that sort of resemble the mini curve concept, generally having a higher proportion of characters relative to other decks. Also, your link for the reducer deck still just takes me back to this page. Great episode, looking forward to more

Very nice cast guys. New players would have to be relishing this kind of in depth deck building analysis. Congrats even with the technical difficulties!

Building Orders + Kings Road = Awesome! Nice back up functionality to Building Orders.

Edited that damn Reducer deck again! It knows I don't like it.
