Prepare to be disappointed - Istaril & Darknoj are both ill, as are their children, and there were some hitches in approving some of our content. We bring you, slightly more grudgingly than usual, our tourney & news roundup, followed by a "rant" about what we'd want FFG to do differently in 2016. Darknoj then berates Istaril for being a jerk while we briefly mention deck testing, followed by a tip of the week, and (as promised!) a review of the Timewalker deck boxes. We close it off by telling everyone our secret tech for Red Saturday in the closing comments. Stay tuned for Stahleck next week, if we can get all our ducks in a row.

I like the incentive program idea. This last year I went to worlds, Gencon, 3 regionals, and 5 store championships as well as a dozen or so locals. I like to play, and I'd love to "choose your own swag" as an option for competition.
I agree with Alex and Jon on almost every point they made. FFG may be a giant entity, but I'm not used to playing a game with such slow movement in it's OP department. They also make baffling decisions for every good one they make. Having a draft world championship, awesome! This is something every major game should have. Then they almost don't give prize support for their biggest European event of the year (not to mention the game's swan song). WTF?
Oh and by the way, lol melee.
My personal feelings of melee aside (although 2nd ed melee is MILES ahead of 1st ed in terms of fun, I just think competitive melee is bleh) Alex is 100% correct that if FFG chooses to show off that game mode as a selling point, it should be supported as much as any other event. Card designs and all.
So if FFG is indeed listening, +1
