Star Wars The Rest of the Galaxy RedSquadronK
I had begun this article series focused exclusively on the neutral objectives and what they could do for your decks. While that was great for a while, I quickly ran out of material that wouldn't just be rehashing of the same old objectives that were collecting dust in your box.
Well with the release of Edge of Darkness, there's now much more to discuss, both with neutral objectives and beyond! I'm going to widen my scope a bit and try to include my thoughts and ideas on what objectives and strategies are exciting me at the moment. I hope this leads to some interesting topics and discussions.
For this first week back, I will actually stick with my roots and discuss a new neutral objective from Edge of Darkness. Time to gear up!
To Arms!

Aside from having exciting punctuation in the title, this objective set plays the role of support in your deck and plays it exceedingly well.
-The Sullustan Weapon Techs (78-2) are reasonable chuds that make sense in the set.
-The two unique weapons are pretty great (Han's Heavy Blaster Pistol (78-4) and Chewbacca's Bowcaster (78-5)). They both give improved stats to the wearer and make Han and Chewie really incredible (because they weren't good enough already). What I really like about them is that any character can benefit from the stats, essentially making them neutral Lightsabers (1-4) at worst.
-Speaking of lightsabers, the final card in the set is what really gets me excited and ready to deck build. Weapon Cache (78-6) is the first true deck search we've seen in the game and it's a pretty great one.
Deckbuilding
It may seem strange to build a deck around a support set, but think of this support set as the bridge connecting the two really awesome places you want your deck to go. To Arms! (78-1) will make that connection.
To start, we obviously want Han Solo (15-2) and Chewbacca (69-2) in the deck so they can grab their gear (2 of each of their sets). These two already work well together and will form the backbone of the deck. Since we're in the Smuggler neighborhood already, it's usually a good idea to put in (arguably) the best objective set in the game, Asteroid Sanctuary (72-1).
So now we have the core 6 objectives of the deck with a good mix of control and damage and targets for the weapons we will put in. The next thought should be, "How else can I abuse Weapon Cache?"
There are two options: A Hero's Journey (1-1) for the Lightsaber or Mission Briefing (9-1) for the Heavy Blaster Emplacement (9-5). I think either is probably a valid choice. Luke will give you more hitting power and can set up some really great stuff with Trust Your Feelings (1-5). The Blaster can and will clear their board, especially with some help from Han and Battlefield Engineers (9-3). It's your call, but I love the Rebels so I go with the HBE (2 copies).
Now we have a choice to make. Do we run 1 or 2 copies of To Arms!? If we're building a deck around getting weapons out, wouldn't we want more weapons and more search for said cards?
I think the answer is no. Having 4 weapon techs will gum up your draws and the objective is not very helpful compared to stars like Wookie Life Debt (69-1) or Questionable Contacts (15-1). So despite being the inspiration for the deck, I say only 1 copy of To Arms! goes in.
That leaves one open objective you can play around with! I personally prefer a 7-3 main faction-off faction split for resources, so I'm going to grab another of the many fantastic S&S objectives. For this deck I'm going to choose Renegade Squadron Mobilization (44-1) because: Echo Caverns (44-5) rocks with the Engineers, Renegade Squadron (44-2) gives you a little capture-meta, and the objective will be amazing in combination with the Heavy Blasters Emplacements.
Here is the deck:
