Turing Test

Nov 25 2013 06:05 AM | Eldil in Android: Netrunner

There have been several attempts at “Chess Problems,” for Netrunner, and although some of them have been quite clever, I’ve never found them very satisfying. This is because chess problems present a predetermined board, hand, and deck, which eliminates the most vital and interesting strategy element of Netrunner: deck construction. In this first edition of Turing Test we will be doing the MAD (Monolith Assembly Drill), attempting to install Monolith and three icebreakers in a few turns as possible. Read on to participate!

Even for experienced players, a lot of thing we do are purely intuition. We run this server or that server because it feels like it is the right thing to do. But trusting your insticts can only lead you that far. To be a true good player, you must get over your guts and have a full comprehension of what you’re doing.
