A lot of houses got great cards, but it’s hard for anything to top the sheer variety of top notch effect neutral got. There’s almost nothing in the bottom levels here. It’s time to look at some excellent cards.

This week we will be looking at another particularly thematic card. This guy is a ruthless killer and former member of the Kingsguard. His name is known and feared throughout much of Westeros. He is an amazing fighter, but turns tail at the sight of fire. I’m talking, of course, about The Hound!

Welcome, dear readers, to the first installment of All Things Shagga in the new year! This year I thought we would kick things off on a different note than our established formula. While the Shagga player archetype is always a fan of the large shiny effects in the game, this doesn’t always equate to more or less convoluted combos and expensive characters. No, sometimes we like to go as big and flashy as you can get. How can we do that, you might ask? By changing the rules of the game!

Well, since I did it for Martell, I figured why not try it for Targaryen? Here’s the ranking of the last two cycles (A Song of the Sea and King’s Road) worth of Targ cards. A Build-a-Berric will have to wait. Did you hear? There’s an OCTGN Tournament! Next time we’ll go over a popular Targaryen build that’d be great for that tournament.
