Hi! My name is Pontus “Chochem†Strimling and I recently won Varberg Morgulis. You may not know me put I am part of the Swedish meta (team captain last and I have played the only game that matters for 2,5 years now. I am a creative deckbuilder and crappy tournament player. My decks are usually at their best when a Jamie player rains them in from chaotic entity to lean mean fighting machines. For instance the overall champion in last year’s Stahleck, Andreas Rybeck, played decks I thought up both in joust and melee. The decks had after my creation been improved on in joint work with him and Jacob Hultman which is no doubt what made them excellent. Last Saturday however I managed to take a deck that had not been trimmed down and pilot it myself into a string of undefeated games leaving me as the new Swedish champion. This is the story about how it all went down.

This week, we take a break from the moaning. Mostly. Probably because Darknoj is too tired... We start off with the news, but add in a guest (wwdrakey) to explain L5R and its acquisition by FFG. Then we do things a little differently; a series of much shorter segments, all focused on 2.0. First: 'Questions people have about buying in to 2.0', then 'How card valuation changes in melee', followed by 'Rules you might be playing wrong', and finally closing off with some of the subtle tricks of the 'Ladies of Westeros'. We close off with our usual closing comments, including promoting Varberg Morghulis.

This week, we go over news from all the tournaments we forgot to announce last week. In our 2.0 segment, we go over a few lessons learned from running a 2.0 Demo, which Istaril did over the weekend. Then Darknoj switches over to full on rant mode against FFG's missed opportunities, especially in the area of Organized Play. Oh, but this is a Canadian "rant", so probably not what you pictured when I said rant. Finally, we close off announcing the most important unofficial black tie event of the thrones year.
